Summary: With this game you need to be really into cricket and you have to be determined to put time into it and practice. Once you get the hang of it you will be hitting fours and sixes without losing as many wickets and at the same time be enjoying yourself.
Summary: This game looks great. The commentary whilst being from legend Richie Benaud, is choppy and annoyingly innacurate at times. But my main gripe is the batting. EA Sports have gone too far with the batsman's confidence level approach.
Summary: For a game that promises so much, it has delivered so little. There is no doubt that the graphics have improved, but not by much; the commentary is still patchy at best. If I hear that damn Linsey Hassett story once more, i'll bloody scream.
Summary: Like the rest of the country, i too have been caught up in ashes fever, and purchased this game as a result having never played cricket on a console before. People complain about how difficult it is, and that true, the game is very difficult to master, but then again so is REAL cricket.
Summary: Having played cricket for over 10 years and having played just about every cricket game ever made, I raced to the game shop to purchase Cricket 2005. What a disappointment!!! Firstly, the good things......
Summary: After about an hour of playing this game you'll be frustrated, annoyed and wondering what on earth you're supposed to do to actually score any runs when batting. Especially if you try a quick game of Limited Overs, you'll be struggling to get past 35, and still have all your wickets!!
Summary: Cricket 2005 is a vast improvement on the last one wheather its better than Brian Lara remains to be seen, it certainly is a very challenging game, even on easy the graphics are excellant the only gripe sems to be the commentery which at times does not match the action thats being playing on the...
Summary: If you are a dedicated fan of cricket then this is the game for you. Compared to brian lara it is harder, but also more realistic. Batting is hard at first and you cannot slog from the start as in previous games. However, with practice, batting becomes easier and is realistic.
Summary: I agree with those who say this game is very difficult to play. Batting should be a lot easier than this. Ok i want an element of skill in it but that should come more from shot selection, excellent feature, and should not rely soo much on the timing of the shot.
Summary: This game is a million times better than 2004. First of all the graphics are more realistic and the gameplay is much more smoother.(Especially the fielders). I had two problems with 2004. First, it was too easy. You could easily hit 6 sixes in one over and once the novelty wore off it became boring.
