Summary: This game came after the Cricket 2004 game and not much had changed in the game. The first thing which had failed to change in the game was the graphics. Every player in the game from the previous edition looked the same in the game. The pitches looked the same and the expressions of the players and also the animations of hitting the ball were all the same! The mega change was the computer was more harder to play on all levels.
Summary: this game is a worthwhile buy without a doubt. the graphics are much improved from previous games and the commentary is also slightly improved. the gameplay itself is simillar to cricket 2004 however seems to offer slightly more variety. the training facilities on the game . namely the nets are a real let down, i really think they are tedious and not worthwhile.
Summary: Every Cricket fan has been waiting for this game but I am sorry it was not worth the wait. The training nets are hard and really have no use or reflection on matchplay. You get no verbal guidelines to what is the correct action etc. The bowling is also super difficult and no matter how you adjust your line and the distance you can never quite do it right.Single player mode you will never beat your opponent.
Pros: Jobs around the house will seem more tempting.
Summary: As with all games there is a kind of settling in period, where you just have to get use to the timing and accuracy of the controls. Same with this game but when batting even with time, can still be very tricky to time the ball properly, often resulting in getting out when going for a big slog (kp style) over mid wicket.
Summary: It is a very good game and is really realistic. Good points about the game are if you are running and the fielder throughs the ball to the wicket keeper and if you think you are going to get out you can dive into the crease. Also instead of letting the computer do the fielding for you you can go into options and turn on manual fielding which means you can do it yourself.
Pros: It is realistic and quite easy to get the hang of bowling.
Cons: Batting is quite hard to get fours and sixes
