Summary: For me this game is "alright" but only in occasional doses! This isn't a game that I would spend like hours on end playing. It's fun for about 30 minutes, to maybe like an hour, but for me that's it. The graphics are much like late 80's to early 90's style, not polished at all. The sound it "ok" as long as you can tolerate your taxi riders screaming insults at you, if not driving the way they want you to.
Summary: This was a arcade game and when i played it i bought it and thought it would be great. It was not. The graphics r good but that is the only good thing about it. There is only three people to choose from and only a couple of towns to go to. The controls r hard to use so i changed them and there is only like fifteen different people to pick up but so many places to go to. They get mad if u crash or drive slow so it gets annoying.
Summary: Well, i thought this would be a spin from GTA (the ability to control mostly everything)...nothing like it. Every "mode" you select you have time restrictions. You cannot explore or do what you want. Basically, you're stuck having to pick up fairs and nothing else.
Summary: Crazy Taxi is not really for consoles-its for arcade machines. This game is actually LESS realistic than the PS1 game "DRIVER" as no matter how hard your Taxi NEVER gets a dent. I Remember the first time i saw this game in an arcade with my cousin Breege,we played it and i was thinking it was like GTA:Vice City as you were in this city and could knock over any car you like(however in GTA you can do MUCH MORE) but pedestriens just bounce out the way which annoys me about...
Summary: This is great arcade fun but it doesn't have the lasting effect that other games have. If your the type of person thats pleased easily then this is the perfect game for you. You get the chance to drive around 2 interactive courses which are both fairly big in size but after playing the game for more than an hour thay seem to get smaller and areas are visited over and over again.
Summary: Well, Well, Well we got Sega now making games for Sony's PS2? Shinobi launched it's ship on the path of the PS2 and so did a whole lot of other games as well. This game was tons of fun on the Dreamcast, but wasn't well known because of the dreamcast so it was reborn for the PS2 and it is even now a greatest hit. It's a very cheap game (Hell, you can even buy it brand new for 12-15 bucks.) So lets get down to business. . . Gameplay - I got to give gameplay a solid 8.
Summary: This was the first PS2 game I ever played and I was impressed with the graphics and sound.. at first. This isn't a game to buy, unless you can get it cheap. There are only so many things you can do in this game. Basically, you are a cab driver and you have a limited amount of time to drive people to their destinations. That's the game. As I said, it's fun for a limited time.
Summary: This game is o.k. I would suggest you go with Crazy Taxi 3 (XBox) though. I don't know if Crazy Taxi 2 is on PS2 but if it is get it instead of this one. You will not regret that. This game is a pretty good game though. But still go with 2 and 3.
