Summary: I only give this a three because it wasn't compatible with my Play station. I think it's because I have the newer kind. The product was delivered in a timely manner though and I was able to return it for free.
Summary: This is great arcade fun but it doesn't have the lasting effect that other games have. If your the type of person thats pleased easily then this is the perfect game for you. You get the chance to drive around 2 interactive courses which are both fairly big in size but after playing the game for more than an hour thay seem to get smaller and areas are visited over and over again.
Summary: This was the first PS2 game I ever played and I was impressed with the graphics and sound.. at first. This isn't a game to buy, unless you can get it cheap. There are only so many things you can do in this game. Basically, you are a cab driver and you have a limited amount of time to drive people to their destinations. That's the game. As I said, it's fun for a limited time.
Summary: I really enjoyed the game, but I felt once again it suffered from a repeated flaw of PS2's first generation of games. It was too short and offered candy for the eyes, but no variety for the brain. The game is a lot of fun. In fact, family members who don't even like gaming really enjoyed the experience and played for long stretches. Unfortunately, the game tops out. While all games eventually do, this game seem to do so early.
Summary: Crazy Taxi is a good game. It really is. But just after 30 minutes, it kind of starts to get boring and you just wish there was something else to do. The original game came out several years ago, before the Dreamcast came out. It is fun to play....if you play it once and awhile, than it seems pretty new everytime. This is not a game you play for hours and everyday. At least, not all the time. The graphics are just pretty much like the Dreamcasts'.
Summary: After hearing how great this game is, I bought it on the day of the release. Yup, I have to admit that it was fun driving anywhere around the city (even subways and water) to pick up/drop off passengers. The computer comments were pretty funny and there was no slowdown when number of items were on the screen at the same time. But after about 2 hours of playing, I realized how disappointed I was with this game.
Excerpt: Crazy Taxi is one of my favourite games for the Playstation 2 but at the same time it doesn't have much replay value. But for a short term rush you can't beat it. This game was originally released in 2000 and has always been one of the biggest titles around. In this version you take on the role of one of four taxi drivers and you have to set out to make as much money as possible.
limited gameplay but still fun and worth about 3 or 4 quid!

Excerpt: I loved playing this game back in 2001 when it first came out. Now 8 years after its release, is it still enjoyable? GAMEPLAY Basically, the clues in the name! You're a crazy taxi driver, Picking up passengers and trying to get them to their destination as quickly as possible. Your aim is to earn as much money as possible and passengers will give larger tips the quicker you get to their destination, so don't be afraid to cut a few corners, have a few crashes and even...
Excerpt: I remember when i was at University (many moons ago) and this was one of the Arcade games that they had in the union building. I actually feel like i did a degree in Crazy Taxi rather than Geography as this is what i spent most of the three years doing!! So when i saw the game for the PS2 going cheap, i jumped at the chance to relive those days and see what more the game had to offer. Unfortunately, it offered not a lot more than the arcade version.
