Summary: This game is great. If you can't have mario kart for PS2 this is the best substitute. My one and only complaint is that I wish you could change the camera angle from directly behind your character
Summary: It's a nice game. Good storyline and nice levels. The characters are all good and with the team option. Multiplayer mode is even better if you have 4 people playing. Still it's a great game and fun for all ages.
Summary: I am an adult, and I still love this game. The whimsical and crazy characters make this game appealing to children, but it is challenging enough for teens and adults to play. I actually played Crash Team Racing all the time with my older brother, and I seized the opportunity to buy Nitro Kart, and I must say I am very much impressed with the gameplay, graphics, and overall package.
Summary: Considering the fact that I recently purchased the Gameboy Advance Crash Nitro Kart and had an absolute blast with it, I was curious to check out the console version. First thing that amazed me about it was how the game looked graphically, I've seen alot of beautiful games on the PS2 and this is, by far, the best one I've seen on the system yet. Everything is colorful, vibrant, and, at times, literally breathtaking.
Summary: This is a review from somebody who hadn't played any kart racing games except for the Mario Kart series until a few weeks ago. And I've gotta say -- Crash Nitro Kart is a lot of fun. The whole control scheme with its three boosts in a row takes a while to learn, but that's a good thing, because you can have a blast playing while you are learning.
Summary: We first tried CTR for playstation and loved it. Then we found Crash Nitro Kart and really thought it kicked butt. Anybody that doesn't think that it's equally as good, if not better then the orginal CTR, is looking way to deep into the game. It's a fun, competitive racing game with great graphics, creative power-ups and cool characters. I would totally suggest owning all of the Bandicott racing games.
