Summary: Vietnam a very fun competent corridor cover shooter game that handled squad based combat rather well and quite fluidly. Better than anything the Arma series has to offer but not quite as good as GRAW series in its heyday. Revisiting an old much loved series "Conflict" is still as memorable and fun as it ever was.
Summary: Game was sent out on time , but it won't play in machine, just keeps clicking and won't load, then it comes up please insert a playstation game, some one suggested it might be a copy, any other games iv'e bought second hand work perfectly
Summary: I have played through all the Conflict series from Desert Storm to Global Storm. I spent hours of my misspent adolescence doing it. Recently I decided to buy Conflict Vietnam again for my dusty, aging PS2. Measured up to modern twoplayer co-op games one might grumble at it's graphics, physics, and sound quality. But as far as gameplay goes, I thinks it's still great.
Play the other two conflict desert storm games first to really get into it

Excerpt: The conflict series developed with this great instalment- set in vietnam this time and not in operation desert storm- as the title suggests. Its a 3rd person shoot em up form pivotal games the deries developers. You play a soldier (whom you are allowed to name yourself unusually, but as usual you have 3 other soldiers in your squad Ragman, the heavy weapons specialist, Hoss the sargean and Junior (as in the first games, different person though obviously as the engineer/...
Summary: a very good and interesting game. The only draw back is that you cannot control how to shoot people. Most of the killing is done by the crew behind you.But all said I would recommend this game to anyone
Excerpt: today i will be reviewing conflict vietnam for the playstation 2 firstly let me say if you like games like conflict desert storm 1 or 2 then you will love this game its full of hours of fun. i find it easier to play with a friend in multiplayer mode but you can play single player if you wish. also the graphics are fantastic the weapons are not as updated as the weapons on conflict desert storm but still the story line is fantastic.

Summary: This has got to be one of my favourite games ever for the PS2. It has so many brilliant features, but let's not kid ourselves it is the squad based play that makes this game brilliant. Sneaking up on a Vietcong checkpoint, Using your Sniper as scout you find the targets. You carefully move the rest of the squad up, taking care to stay in the cover of the swamp. When all the men are in position you move to the front, your the squad leader, you have to go first.
Excerpt: Having never played any of the other Conflict games I didn't really know what to expect of Conflict: Vietnam. Was it a first person shooter? Was it a strategic squad based game? Well as it turns out it falls somewhere in between. Conflict: Vietnam follows the story of a squad of young American soldiers who after a helicopter crash are left stranded in the Vietnamese jungles trying desperately to make it home in one piece.
Excerpt: Game Info Genre = Team Action Developer = Pivotal Games Publisher = Sci Games Players = 1-2 players Online = No Age = 16+ --------------------------------------------------------------- GRAPHICS: Not only the locations have been changed from the desert to the jungle but with better graphics too, which looks very good.
Pros: Can be fun on co - op and you can drive jeeps and tanks .
Cons: Poor Team AI, controls are diffaculty to use at times and not much replay value .
