Summary: Vietnam a very fun competent corridor cover shooter game that handled squad based combat rather well and quite fluidly. Better than anything the Arma series has to offer but not quite as good as GRAW series in its heyday. Revisiting an old much loved series "Conflict" is still as memorable and fun as it ever was.
Summary: This game is the perfect fusion of both the Army grunt culture and the "Platoon" film starring Charlie Sheen and Tom Berenger. Both these elements are exceptionally authentic and make the game very original. Also, the multiplayer is awesome. The game forces you to act as a fully functional team in order to survive your missions. Because you are only given a compass, this makes you travel abroad in the terrain with caution.
Summary: Conflict: Vietnam you play a raw recruit Harold Kahler (aka Cherry), learning the ropes from your potty-mouthed fellow soldiers. In an interesting twist, you are also a potty-mouthed soldier. The game is actually a squad-based third-person shooter. You take control of four grunts, each with a specialty: a medic, a heavy gunner, an assault weapons expert, and a sniper. You directly control one team member at a time, but you're free to switch between them at will.
Summary: This game is probably one of the best Conflict game. the sound of the guns is really good. The game play is realistic, like if you go under a helicopter your character will hold onto his hat or when a grenade goes off near you your hearing is messed up for about 10 seconds. If you've played any other conflict game or war game in general you will LOVE this game. Probably the best war game for PS2.
Summary: I bought this game on a humbug and thought i will get around to it eventually, that was 9 months ago. I should have slapped myself for waiting so long to play this game. The opening scene puts you in the mind of 1960 era with the music, then when you actually get involved in the game you forget its 2010, The language of the characters really puts this title for the mature. The controls are at first awkward but once adjusted there fine.
Summary: This game is definetlly a fun game. The storyline is genius. 4 US soldiers trapped behind Viet Cong terriotory. This game is very fun. There is a wide range of weaponry including: M16, M60, M14, the Grease Gun, AK47, PPSH, Mossin Nagant, Dragonov, and many more. This game has extraordinary graphics and some of the besst for 2004. The really stupid thing with this game is the enemies take like 5 bullets to kill. The game has good sound.
Summary: Game was sent out on time , but it won't play in machine, just keeps clicking and won't load, then it comes up please insert a playstation game, some one suggested it might be a copy, any other games iv'e bought second hand work perfectly
Summary: I have played through all the Conflict series from Desert Storm to Global Storm. I spent hours of my misspent adolescence doing it. Recently I decided to buy Conflict Vietnam again for my dusty, aging PS2. Measured up to modern twoplayer co-op games one might grumble at it's graphics, physics, and sound quality. But as far as gameplay goes, I thinks it's still great.
