Summary: I'm a really selective gamer, so I don't warm up to most of the military games that have been coming out for the past 10 years. But Conflict (this Global Terror version in particular) has a more realistic gaming experience than anything else I've played. Meaning that your players do NOT re-spawn, you die, you lose (healing is possible but not unlimited). Good mixture of skills on your 4 man team, and tactics are important.
Can you use the playstation 2 controller on this game
1 October 2010
Summary: Can you use playstation 2 controller on this game for shooting? I wanted to buy this game but i dont know whether am gonna buy a controller for shooting or i can use the playstation 2 controller.
Summary: I would recomend this game to any body who into war games. Its not the graphic when it comes to kills but it does give you some blood spray. You controll a squad of four with all type of weapons, each with their own specialty. Then there medals you can ewarn for each completed mission not to mention to rise in rank. Also you get thermal and night time vision. Not a bad story line to follow along also as you complete each mission.
Summary: If you are looking for a great coop shooter look no further. the new conflict game is awesome and is one of my favorite games. you play as four characters (squad leader, machine gunner, demoltions expert, and sniper) and can switch between all of them. they all have different weapons and skills and you need all of them to complete your mission.
Summary: I must say this is a fun game and is very challenging on easy mode. The AI are actually pretty smart and the weapons seem to be slightly realistic. But don't think the weapons you're provided will go long, so pick up a secondary and make it a good one because you only carry two weapons. RPGs don't hit exactly where youy point all the time giving you a chance. The thermal imaging is probably the most used feature of the game. I'll give it a FIVE OF FIVE.
Summary: Our favorite Gulf War vets Bradley, Connors, Foley, and Jones are back to fight global terrorism in South America, Korea, and Eastern Europe. Most players will be well versed in the `Conflict' series and `Global Terror' is full of new challenges. If you are new to the `Conflict' series this should NOT be your first game. You may find it too challenging even on "easy" mode.
Summary: Conflict: Global Terror has to be by far the best of the Conflict games for a few reasons. First, the extra touches that have been added to the game are very useful and make the game much more focused on getting your mission done. This game has removed the entire need for going in your menu, selecting a medkit and healing your team. Instead, you can just walk up to them and heal them while keeping your weapon at the ready.
Summary: I'd say that this game is a pretty good game overall. It could use some minor additions/changes, but it's otherwise solid. I liked the "Contextual orders" you could give; meaning that if you move your cursor over an enemy's weapon you could order one of your squadmates to pick it up and other things like that.(plant C4, use a certain object, etc.) Also, the fact that you could save while in-mission was nice.
