Summary: I'm writing a review in 2013 for a game that came out in 2007, if that tells you anything. This game is simply the best available right now for NCAA basketball fans. The tournament, recruiting, small/mid-major/big-time schools are all represented well here. If you want an NBA game, get the NBA 2K series. But if you want great, deep, fairly realistic college ball, get this one, I'm sure its available cheaply through a number of outlets now.
Summary: Those screenshots look great dont they! But thats not what your getting. Those shots are for Xbox 360 & PS3. PS2 is a different story. This game might as well be 2K5, which i played and it was horrible. The graphics look like they are from back in 03'. The legacy mode allows you to become a coach whic is boring on P2 but you have to start off with a horrible school, which meens, No recruits for you. No player names and the faces dont even half try to look good.
Summary: I have this game for the ps2 the graphics are good for a ps2 but that is not saying much. But any way the game is fun the crowd is alive in this game which is cool. I noticed that the game is easy thoe. I started a season with wsu cougars who were good that year I won the championship with them and they were not good enough to do that. So the game is easy you could probably when the championship with eastern washington and beat north carolina by 25 points.
Summary: This game is great just like the past ones....the only negative is the same glitches like too many pass interceptions and too easy 2 get charge calls and the crowd advantage i dont like and you cant turn it off, but overall its a great game still.
Summary: This review is based solely on College Hoops 2k8. I have not played any other version of the game for other systems, and I have not played this series before. I have also not tried out the online play. Graphics: 5/10 - The different courts look good, but the players look blurry. Framerate suffers from some issues - even on the fast gameplay setting, it slows down. Eventually you will get used to it. I appreciate how different teams have different levels of attendance.
