ChoroQ – Review

18 April 2005
  • Excerpt: When I was 14, I spent hours upon hours playing Road Rash on the Sega Genesis, going through the same race over and over with the second-worst bike in the game (it was best to get the second-worst bike because it's pretty much impossible to win a race with the worst bike). After winning some large amount of races, I would have enough money to buy the best bike in the game.

Playstation Illustrated
25 February 2005
  • Excerpt: ChoroQ is a cute racer with an in-depth RPG story line that will keep you going back time after time. The graphics of ChoroQ definitely lie on the cartoony side. The cars are brightly colored and bubbly, reminding me of toy cars. The tracks and landscapes follow suit with their slightly exaggerated characteristics, the stands filled with cars, and the “houses” for the various vehicles being little more than garages.

ChoroQ Review

9 December 2004
  • Summary: If you don't already have an established love for Takara's customizable line of toy cars, you'll find that ChoroQ has little in the way of redeeming qualities.
  • Pros: Unique structure., Attractive price point., Tons of customization.
  • Cons: Poor handling., Antiquated graphics.
