Summary: I was told by a friend that this game was good. He lied it is an amazing game and i would recommend this game to anyone that likes hack and slash style games. From beginning to end this is one of the best games i have played. I usually don't give good reviews for games but there is no way that this game should deserve a bad reputation. This game you don't just get new weapons but you get to change armor by picking it up randomly throughout the game.
Summary: I am a huge lover of action RPGs, especially those of the multiplayer co-op variety. This game is great if you have a group of 2-4 players, I find the best results with 3. Unless players are willing to play nice together, it doesn't go very well. Checking equipment takes a good deal of the speed out of any progress made in multiplayer.
Summary: I sometimes find it hard to find a game that I actually enjoy, but this is one game that I will play over and over. I have had it for about a month and I am already on my second time through. The graphics are great and the game play is smooth. I tend to like the hack and slash type of games and this one delivers! There are a few areas that I do not find that enjoyable to play, but it is just my opinion and that is why I only gave it four stars instead of five.
Summary: Pro: With up to 4 players it makes a great party game. Story, cutscenes, and acting are quite poor and cliched, adding to the humor. Little thought or finesse needed, just a button mashing good time. Con: Must have character aligned with enemies or blows/spells will miss. Combat gets repetitive. If you're looking for a Baldur's Gate clone with more action and less thought, try C of N!
Summary: If you are looking for a two player rpg for the PS2 system, this is one of the better ones. It's a fun, but typical, hack and slash rpg. You run around and kill things, collect weapons, etc. The character choices are interesting and customizable. As a chick, I really appreciated all of the choices for female characters. The only reason I played this was because of it being two-player co-op.
Summary: This game is great. I owned it and you can take my word. I really enjoyed this game and Never stopped playing it. Its also one of the few really good action RPGs on the ps2, which there is a short list of anyway. We all know the ps2 was plagued with Japanese RPG crap, even the Jap action RPGS. This game and its sequel more then make up for this fact. The game uses the snowblind engine just like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance. It looks fantastic. It probably still looks good.
Summary: I'm tired of Diablo 2 and wanted an alternative . . . after some research, bought this game. It's pretty funny because it is almost exactly like Diablo. Unfortunately it lacks the great multiplayer aspect of Blizzard, but it's still very fun. If you loved Diablo, you'll love this game. It's almost the same thing. It could be an expansion pack. I'm surprised Blizzard didn't sue.
Summary: it was great game while people were playing it online. kind of like diablo. the story is just about what you would expect from an action RPG where you can create our own character. the sequel is okay, but due the expereinced crowd, its very hard for new players to enjoy online play. its just too ba this one was over looked. it didnt have many players online, but they few that were on could tell you that this was a great game.
Summary: This game is really quite good. There are many different characters to play as. There is no difference between the male and female of each species to play. That's a nice change. The zoom is a little lame, but you want to see ahead for you most of the time anyway. There's around 25 hours of play time the first time through. Some of the bosses are challenging, but not impossible to figure out. If you like Baldur's Gate, you'll like this game as well.
Summary: This game is awesome. Over this last summer, my boyfriend and I played Balder's Gate II: Dark Alliance and we both loved it. We have been searching for similar games when I found Champions of Norrath. I looked at tons of reviews before buying it and I find it to be very fun and almost identical to Balder's Gate II. Not the story line, but the battling and concept.
