Good game overall

ryoko, Amazon

  • Summary: It has great game play but when you get to the cut scenes it has the stutter when someone is speaking or so that is my experience. It's always random when that happens too. The plot is good.

Not bad for a 3d game

  • Summary: Lament is a fun, though fairly short and simple, game that marks a promising new beginning for this beloved series since N64.

Castlevania

maria bronco, Amazon
4 September 2011
  • Summary: I bought this game on Amazon and it's just as fun as the earlier version of it from Nintendo 64. I would definitelty recommend this game, the only problem is that it can be pretty easy to get lost when you are playing this game. The different levels you can choose from and all of the connecting rooms can make the game a little confusing. Other than that, it's a great game.

Makes me want to play the originals

Sigmund Freud, Amazon
12 December 2010
  • Summary: The whole 3d thing works ok for the most part, but the inviroments are dull and repetitive the only thing that sticks out are the graphics which are quite good. Music and sound are superb the music in perticular is excellent very well orchestrated. The game is lengthy and has alot of good boss battles which has always been the staple of the series its no different here.

A beautiful 3D Castlevania

Velvet Velour "Tenebrae", Amazon
21 April 2008
  • Summary: I am a newbie in Castlevania world (better late than never;).So I dont have a big experience to judge upon, my collection consists of 3 games so far : Symphony of the night, Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness. Strangely, the last 3D Castlevania games are just so different in many ways! And my vote goes to LoI.Why? I will explain. First of all, LoI athmosphere reminds me a lot of SotN (of course, nothing can compare to SotN we all know it:).

Stress Release

C. Meador, Amazon
7 March 2006
  • Summary: There is a great deal about graphics , game play, and max up's. The fact that after a stress filled day you can come home and pick up a paddle and go for broke. The whole whip thing is awesome. The puzzle is what grabbed my attention. It is filled with one puzzle after another. I found the game to be a short one, but nonetheless an enjoyable game to waste time with. I am no professional on graphics, but I found it easy to follow.

Great game but not perfect.

Carmilla, Amazon
11 November 2005
  • Summary: To me this game is very similar to Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance. Like HoD this game is fun and all but not perfect. The graphics and gameplay are superb. As is the music. When youre exploring the castle, the awesome graphics and organ heavy music really sets the mood. The main chracter Leon controls smoothly and his whip strikes look and feel powerful. Plus the boss battles are tough but not overly difficult.
