Summary: I bought this game on Amazon and it's just as fun as the earlier version of it from Nintendo 64. I would definitelty recommend this game, the only problem is that it can be pretty easy to get lost when you are playing this game.
Conclusion: Castlevania : Lament of Innocence is a good game for what it is supposed to do. It has a modern 3D world and gameplay, while being a true part of the Castlevania series, and it also adds some kind of story to the series, as Aria of Sorrow did before, but in another extent.
Pros: Castlevania : Lament of Innocence is the first instalment of the epic Castlevania series on the Play Station 2. This game is supposed to be a prequel of all existing Castlevania games (so far) and sets the starts of the conflict between the Belmont family and the vampires.
Cons: Nothing really terrible to mention except the terrible camera control and the fact that the game is really hard to do without following a FAQ, because the only way to gain higher stats is to find secret that are well hidden.
Summary: Graphics:4 stars Storyline: 2 stars Gameplay: 2 stars Soundtrack: 5 stars Replay value: 3 stars Overall: 3 stars It is hard to actually know where to start on this game. While my review won't be long, it will be direct and honest.
Summary: When i got the game i wasnt really sure what i was in for. I played the first Castlevania: SOTN on PS1 and truly loved it as it brought back really good memories for me. Then so many years later, this game came out and i went..WOW!. The Graphics are sweet and fighting is good, but, can be a pain.
Summary: Let's get a few things clear and out of the way: - Symphony of the Night is one of my all-time favorite games, and since I've been playing videogames since the old Atari systems, that's saying alot. -The jump to 3D play, and I mean GOOD 3D play, was just inevitable, so get used to it.
Summary: After having beaten this game at least 10 times, including the special modes, I feel pretty set in writing a review about it. :P Plot (4/5): Standard stuff. Hero loses girlfriend. Hero finds girlfriend. Hero slays bad guy.
Summary: In a sense this game is old hat. The beautiful fiancée of Leon Belmont, a knight crusader, is captured by Walter Bernhard, a master vampire. Leon deserts the crusades and flies off to the castle of the aforementioned vampire.
Summary: Let me tell you first of all, this is Castlevania in 3-D done right. The graphics are very well done and the soundtrack gives it a grim feeling. This game takes place before all the Castlevania games, and was produced b the folks who made SOTN for the PS.One of the things I love about this game is...
