Great game, go get it!
20 June 2012
Summary: Curse of Darkness differs from its predecessor in a number of ways. It includes a more complex, action/adventure style of gameplay, much like Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow. Hector is not a member of the Belmont clan, so he does not use the "Vampire Killer" whip; instead he has the ability (much like Alucard and Soma Cruz) to equip a variety of different weapons ranging from swords (both one handed and two handed), spears, axes (also both one handed and two...
Summary: Excellent storyline keeps you guessing. Music alone has a YouTube following. Amazing area after area keeps you thinking you are at the high point of the game. Among the best games of all time.
Summary: Overall this is a good game. Adequately dark intro, brooding, etc. The fact is that it is also a complete engine rip from Lament of Innocence, which I liked a lot. Mechanics are very similar, and the devil forgery skill is another attribute to keep track of rather than be enthusiastic about. The only weapons worth forging are (at least to my game style) knuckle, sword and axe.
Summary: This review is for Castlevania fans (Newcomers might not understand what im talking about). Castlevania Curse of Darkness is basically like a 3d Symphony of the Night game. Its has the same formula. If you liked Lament of Innocence and Symphony of the night then this game is for you.
Summary: this game is fantastc., do you remember castlevania symphony of the night? think of it like a 3d upgraded version. there is a huge weapon system where you can get weapons normally or forge them. the familiar system is 50X more in depth than the old one. a massive explorable area at least 3 secret areas, secret characters, and everything else to love in a castlevania. if u like symphony of the night, dawn of sorrow, aria of sorrow, or harmony of descent.
Summary: Intense battles, planned survival, and heroic adventure combined into a single package, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness offers the player much to experience, as a fighting game combined with RGP elements. The first hour of play was a quick dive into the gameplay and story, not as with many slow RPGs. You travel the lands of Valachia in vivid scenery - mystic forests, haunted cathedrals, and lonely mountains battling monsters and demons.
