Summary: "Burnout" is an okay game. It's fun to go whizzing through rush hour traffic at 130 mph. It's therapeutic in the sense that you can do stuff in this game that you wish you could do in real life. The thing that makes me give this game two stars are the crashes. Yeah, they look realistic and cool and you can replay your crashes from about five different angles after you finish the track.
Summary: This is another game that leaves much to be desired. The graphics are very PSone like and the gameplay lacks any real substance. You race past cars trying to get near misses and by doing so you fill up your burnout meter. Once your burnout meter is full you can go to supersonic speed whitch doesnt look or feel any different than when you were going normal speed. The near misses get to be very boring after a while. And there are not enough cars or tracks available.
Summary: Burnout is definitely not worth buying. Even a rental isn't quite warranted. Actually, the best way to experience Burnout is to stop by a friend's house when he's rented (or bought) it. If you drive just one lap of a race, you get the idea. There's really not that much more to get out of it. With games increasingly being measured by the hours of original play that they offer, this is really quite pathetic.
Im Tired of Company reps writing their own "reviews"

Summary: There's no way this game can be considered as good as many of these reviews. Either these positive reviews are made by company reps, or the person just doesnt have any experience with other, more advanced games.
Excerpt: "...have to fill up your burnout bar by doing one of three things: 1. Drive on the wrong side of the road 2. Drive close to hitting a car, calculating a near miss 3. Power slide round corners Now I do not mean to be unfair but only the first one will really get the bar filled up, but it can become a very tricky business. As you find yourself heading towards oncoming traffic, you will find there is hardly any room for your car to fit through. Now ...
Pros: Original idea, fun for a while
Cons: The graphics, and repetitiveness ruin this original idea
Tutto sbagliato.
