Summary: while this is good, this just feels to different from the other burnout games, even when racing. there is no crash mode. this does not feel like a normal burnout game, but it's still worth a try.
Summary: The soundtrack is nice, the menu is great, but the exclusion of some options hurt a bit. The graphics are like revenge, but its' perspective is oddly between 4:3 and 16:9. The sound samples is similar to revenge, and its' top-notch controls are a bit "bare-bones" these days. The fact that there is no online is painful, despite the proof that split screen and party play is good.
Summary: i like this game it's very interesting and has some details that make it appeling, graphics are good but are not perfect, sometimes cars and buildings look "square" but it's acceptable considering it's a portable console.
Summary: Everyone knows burnout games are fast, everyone also knows that this is not Burnout 5. If you aren't expecting the next big thing in racing, but are prepared to have an amazingly fun time, get this game. First off, for a PS2 title, this game looks absolutely terrific, the environments are rich, and the cars look really real.
Summary: The epitome of racing games. Use your burnout feature to smash into cars then watch them explode. There is a feature in this game that allows the player to slow down time after a crash to allow the player to "guide the crash" in to oncoming traffic. If you tap another player while you are crashing you are forgiven the crash and placed back on the track doing an automatic burnout. This keeps the game moving at high speed no matter how much you crash.
Summary: Though this game is not as good as Burnout Revenge, it's still a lot of fun to play even if it is missing some things like online play and crash mode. Still it's a fun tide-over till until Burnout Paradise hits the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The crashes are still great to watch, and this time when you crash you can blow up your car to take out an opponent or to just raise hell among the commuters by destroying a lot of things.
Summary: U know, I just love burnout games! I never really liked racing games, but just add a dash of DESTRUCTION, then we have ourselves a game! What good would twisted metal be without any explosions? Same goes with this game! It's faster paced than it's predecessors, giving you the oppurtunity to keep your turbo up, by drifting, close calls, or even just driving on the wrong side of the road! Of course it has the usual modes of crashing/racing! Best one out of all of them!
Summary: Burnout Dominator is a average racing game that has not changed a lot since Burnout Revenge. This game has mediokre graphics, the soundtrack is one of the worst that i have ever heard on a racing game, and some of the challenges are too hard. Overall, this game ain't that bad, so i recommend that you at least rent it if you do not want to spend all of that money on it. Burnout is a good series, but they made a stutter step when making this game.
