Summary: This is for people that like driving really fast. This game is quite tense because you don't know if your going to crash into a car when you turn that corner. Sometimes you get frustrated by it. People are saying it gets boring but that happens with every great game. When I get a new game I play it(for first 10 days) nearly all day like for 12 hours and thats why I get bored of games like over people. People say it makes you sweat and grin and that's true.
Summary: I have played a lot of racing games and none of them captivated me like this one. When I first played it it was ok until my first crash. The realism and graphics on the crashes are amazing. It shows windows cracked and glass all over the place and unbelievably real damage done to the cars. The crash or destruction mode is awesome because is sets you up in perfect places to cause some serious devestation where the goal is to cause as much damage as possible.
Summary: I have always wanted to play a racing game that focused on the crashses as well as the regular game play. I like to see things destroyed, whether they are in movies, tv shows, even video games. When it comes to crashes in other racing games that I have played, they keep keep the POV (point of view) where your driving POV is.
Summary: This game is simple awesome... It reminds me of the movie Fast and the Furious. I love weaving in and out of traffic, something you don't see in many racing games. The turbo nox is cool. The crash mode is one of the best ideas in a car game yet. I love how it at up the total cost of the traffic accident. Hopefully people will realize that this is a game and should not be practiced in real life. The game is just a great game to add to the collection.
Summary: Plain and simple this game is all about adrenalin rushing fun! If you're looking for a driving sim then get Gran Tourismo 4 when it comes out. The speed you feel while driving is unmatched in any racer i've played. The crash scenes add that extra nice satisfying touch when you're speeding down the road with oncomming traffic ahead and collide with a semi tracktor trailer!! That experiece youjust cant get with other racing games. Now for the negatives.
Summary: The game I really wanted was Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 because I loved the PS1 version of that game (and still do). But I was so disappointed in NFS-HP2 that I traded it in for Burnout 2, and it was the best decision I could have made: Burnout 2 is arcade racing at its finest. No it's not perfect, but it's perfect enough because it's pure fun.
