Summary: This game is fun to watch and play with your friends but its more like a arcade game than racing. Your car breaks too fast and the boos is too fast. The cars arent real. If you want to get something you would laugh at while playing then you should buy this. If you are a hardcore gamer, I suggest you get Need For Speed.
Summary: i had this game before. the game is great but the races in carrer are kind of hard. graphics are great so are the sounds. but with it being hard here are some examples. in pursuit 2,you have to chase the classic in oncoming traffic!(most of the time) In gran prix 4 or 5, it was hard not to crash on one of the tracks. However, this game has great tracks, cars, etc. so if you like racing games, i recommand this for all players.
Summary: This is for people that like driving really fast. This game is quite tense because you don't know if your going to crash into a car when you turn that corner. Sometimes you get frustrated by it. People are saying it gets boring but that happens with every great game. When I get a new game I play it(for first 10 days) nearly all day like for 12 hours and thats why I get bored of games like over people. People say it makes you sweat and grin and that's true.
Summary: I have always wanted to play a racing game that focused on the crashses as well as the regular game play. I like to see things destroyed, whether they are in movies, tv shows, even video games. When it comes to crashes in other racing games that I have played, they keep keep the POV (point of view) where your driving POV is.
Summary: This game is simple awesome... It reminds me of the movie Fast and the Furious. I love weaving in and out of traffic, something you don't see in many racing games. The turbo nox is cool. The crash mode is one of the best ideas in a car game yet. I love how it at up the total cost of the traffic accident. Hopefully people will realize that this is a game and should not be practiced in real life. The game is just a great game to add to the collection.
Summary: Ever wonder why, no mater how true to life a driving or racing sim can be, You can never seem to drive as good in a video game/driving sim as you do in real life? Even if you are a professional driver using a steering wheel controler? Thats because in a video game the only way you can win is to drive around like a MANIAC!! And thats never easy (Ask any hollywood stuntman!). Well finally there is a game that encourages you to do just that!
Summary: Graphics and sound 10/10 Technically this is the most impressive videogame for ps2. the game blazes at 60 frames per second, the sense of speed is unrivaled, the textures and lighting are gorgeous, the physics are amazing(incredible crashes), and it supports progressive scan televisions. Gameplay 9/10 This game blazes. Nothing has ever been faster than this. The controls are tight and it actually takes skill to drive.
Summary: Burnout 2 is a great game, and it improves on everything the first one did, and is just a little better. The graphics are improved and you can see farther in the game (can't remember the technical term for that) so it makes going fast much cooler so you can see way ahead to know where you're going. They kept the turbo meter, which works well in this one too, and have a good selection of cars.
