Summary: Amazing game. Has an epic storyline to it, sweet graphics. Ubisoft made on of the best WWII Games ever. Has a challenge to it as you advane through the game. It is so great, you will wanna play it over again. It get sad at the parts where you lose squad mates, but Sgt. Baker never gave up in the game. I have one more word to describe the game, AMAZING!
Summary: The first game that will automatically come to my mind these days when people talk about World War 2 is Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30. Even though this game came out a few years ago, it is still in my game library and will be for a long time to come. This game was really the pioneer of combat games that allow you to control your squad and let you be in control, unlike the other WW2 games where you pretty much can't do anything with your squad members at all.
Summary: This is one of the best shooters ever if you like games in which you get to shoot people then this is a must buy. You really get to command your squad the commands are suppressing fire-squad fires on enemy endlessly making him unable to fire. Move-makes either your fire team or assault team to any position.
Summary: This game is one of the best squad based games ever. The story line was a little long but entertaining. The weapons were authentic from the M1 garand to the panzerschreck perfect. It was hard but not so hard you wanna give up. The graphics were almost perfect they just could of made the Kruats (Germans) a little different in uniform here and there, instead of sticking with the normal gray. Gameplay makes up for it though.
Summary: I bought this game about 2 weeks ago and it is absolutely fantastic! The main thing that stands out in this game is the realism. It's almost like actually being there! the sounds of bullets whizzing past your head, the mud and blood splashing up at the screen and the almost continuous sound of bombs being dropped!! I don't actually like shooting games that much usually but it just doesn't matter!
Summary: The graphics of this game were excellent and the playing of it was excellent also. The intro parts remind me of the t.v. show Band of Brothers however, but this is not a bad thing. I like the talky bits at the start which gives it a sense of personalism like you are actually Matt Baker who you play as. He also talks about his life before the war. Telling you about his parents divorce or telling you what he feels at the moment.
Summary: Rather than go down the much trodden path of gung ho action FPSs such as Medal of Honor and Call of Duty, Brothers in Arms strives for and achieves realism to an incredible degree. Thrust into the airborne invasion of normandy you are Sergeant Matt Baker, commanding a squad of elite paratroopers from the 502nd PIR 101st Airborne.
