I thought "Britney's Dance Beat" was a fairly limited game - although I had fun for a little while, I quickly lost interest.

  • Summary: Although the graphics are respectable, the game needs more songs and more to do. Certainly not worth the price it's going for, even now.

  • Summary: This game is fun and simple. Not much to it just some oldie britney music and a chance to dance to it. You can also play w a controller. Only a handful of songs and nothing challenging. Good for younger kids.

I have been playing this for TEN YEARS

ChocoFrappuccino, Amazon
29 February 2012
  • Summary: This game is so much fun, I was obsessed with i as a child and I am now close to 20 years old. There isn't a person on this PLANET who can beat me at any of the songs because after ten years of playing, you kind of memorize EVERY single thing hahaha. So worth buying.

Not a bad game, you'd be surprised

Tony Eugene Arthur, Amazon

  • Summary: Let me just start off with a little story of how I ended up with this game. Back in 2002, I remember seeing this game at Walmart. I was only 16 when the game came out and I was sort of a closet Britney Spears fan. I wanted the game, but I figured how embarrassed I would be if I would have walked around with that game in my hand. However, fast forward to 2007 when I saw this game at Gamestop, in the bargain bin, no less.

underrated awesome

  • Summary: If you love DDR but are bored of the game mechanics, you should try this game. It is pretty challenging, and the graphics aren't bad for when it was made! Britney songs may be a turn off to some, but if you like them, definitely get the game!

Britney Rocks!

Lita Fan "clamdandys", Amazon
21 January 2006
  • Summary: I played through this game and it's lots of fun. if you can get through all the auditions not only you get to see a CGI Britney dancing but you also get to see what it looks like running a camera at her concerts. But one downfall you can't zoom in to get closeup shots of her but it's still rather cool!

Not that great

M. Heller, Amazon
26 May 2005
  • Summary: When I play a video game, I want to indulge my fantasies. The premise of this game is that you can become a back-up dancer. That's right - the best you can do is become a back up dancer. This game is perfect for people who dissappoint themselves, even in their fantasies. You shouold be able to become the head dancer and replace Britney Spears. Now THAT would be entertainment.

Very disappointing for a dance mat game

Jacob Marner, Amazon
20 December 2003
  • Summary: I am big fan of dance mat games and I like Britney Spears music too, but I was quite disappinted with this title. I clearly recommend that you buy a Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) game instead. The game's biggest fault is that there is only 5 songs in it. I think that is way to little given how many song you can get on a regular music CD at a much lower price. So this is not good value for money. Also the actual steps that you have to do is not very dance-like.
