I'll have to side with the person who said "Meh".

Summary: I just downloladed Breath of Fire 4 off the Playstation Store, and it reminded me of a time where I bought this game and sold it a couple days later. I usually am a big fan of the BOF series, but this one really fell short. It wasn't anything like the previous games. If you want a good Breath of Fire game, Just pick any that came before this and it will be a thousand times better than this one.
Summary: I love the Breath of Fire 3&4, so I decided to buy BOF5 to what what it was like. It was ok (had a good story line to it IMO), yet the only thing I didn't like was how it was setup. It was like playing chess or something with movement system. On top of that I beat the game in 16 hours. It was good though the next time Capcom decides to make another BOF don't make it like BOF5.
Summary: This game has a few good things and a few bad things going for it, and I'll try to keep this short and discuss the things I consider the most important aspects you should focus on. One of the worse things about this game is the "difficulty". Yes the game is difficult - if you never use healing items. One of the biggest short comings in the game is the fact you can use items an UNLIMITED number of times per character turn without repercussions.
Summary: Breath Of Fire Dragons Quarter has to be the most complex and difficult RPG I have ever played. Basically, the game plays like a standard RPG, with strings of dungeons, interspaced with "towns". You only have three playable characters so you can concentrate your level building quite easily. The battle system itself is quite cool, as it requires that you take into account positioning and distance in all your strategies.
Summary: Breath Of Fire Dragons Quarter has to be the most complex and difficult RPG I have ever played. It's the only game in the series I have tried, and I decided to play it as I am a fan of RPG's in general, but I wasn't prepared for such a steep learning curve. Maybe if you know the series you will find it easier, but I spent the whole first section of the game having no idea of what I was doing.
Summary: I was a bit upset with the way this game turned out when I unfortunately bought the game before trying it out first. The battle system is turn based like a tactics game, and the game in my opinion is quite difficult if you are not used to it at all. If you are a saving fanatic, I would suggest you be aware, cause you are required to use tokens to save. This game takes special care, and needs to be sorta mastered before actually getting the hang of it.
Summary: I play alot of RPG's and was excited about getting my hands on the newest BOF game. Overall I was not that Impressed with the game. The lenght of the game is relativly short and It got rather boring towards the end. None the less It Is a very hard game, With no way to heal up other than getting potions, It makes It very challenging to stay alive! Dont get me wrong It Is a good game, But It could have been alot better.
