Summary: I bought this game from Amazon, and I'd say the game itself is fun, but the controls are a little awkward. The second one has a little better setup for the controls, but the first is not set up how you think it would be, so the controls are a little harder to master at first. It does have an interesting story. I would recommend it for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.
Summary: I did try to get into this game, however, with sloppy controls and very cut and dry graphics i really thought it should have been better in my view. This game plays to much like Tomb Raider (control wise) and all the battles are either jerky or really bad. I would only get this game if your a huge fan of the Tomb Raider games (which i am not). Rent it, before you buy it.
Summary: Take a half-vampire with a severe case of parental rebellion and add zombies, Nazis, a heap of unpleasant critters and bad news bosses and you have the makings of Bloodrayne (and about a dozen ofther games as well. As Rayne, you fight your way from the bayous to Argentina, in a wild hunt to keep ex-Supreme Commander Jurgen Wulf from reassembling Beliar, a demon even older than Satan himself.
Great game but kind of long and boring after a while
irishcannibal "irishcannibal", Amazon
3 April 2003
Summary: This game starts out boring, gets decent then gets so repetitious and boring and long that you just get tired of the same thing over and over. I mean how many nazis can you assassinate before it gets old? graphically it isnt that great either, maybe a 6 out of 10. The weapons all pretty much have the same effect, if you want to kill something you have to jump on it and drink its blood, otherwise you will be there all day and run out of ammo.
Summary: I was one of the lucky ones..I didn't have to shell out the money to try this one since my girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas...I wouldn't have gotten it...not without trying it out first. The game. It's not terrible. There are certainly worse games out there, because it definitely has it's moments. I think the most disappointing features of this game are with the graphics, which are very inconsistent.
Summary: Hard to see what the excitement is about. The graphics are nothing special. The game is rather shallow P>The controls are rather easy to pick up. You can use a variety of different views, such as aura view (looks similar to infrared), dilated perception (slow motion), and extended vision (zoom). Not much skill involved with the combat; it is more or less hack and slash. The theme of the game is raw violence combined with sensuality.
Summary: This game is pretty cool if you're a fan of vampires. I'm one of them, OBSEST with them almost. This game is really cool, Rayne kicks butt! All the variety of weapons and moves. It's one game you definattly don't want to play at night in a dark room if you're weak at heart and scare easily. Hehe i can be at times. This game has a gothic look too it which makes it so cool. Love the voices, specially since two are the voice actors of my favorite anime Dragonball Z.
Summary: BloodRayne brings you everything you need to get your game on. Rayne herself is a Dhampire, a sexy half human half vampire who is avenging her deceased mother. Who is she getting her revenge on? Her father. The father that sexually assaulted Rayne's mother so that Rayne could be born, after she was born her father killed Rayne's mother and friends. Year on she joins the mysterious Brimstone Society who help her on the way to killing her father.
