Despite what the bad reviews say, this game is FUN!

Summary: I played this game when it first came out, and was intrigued the whole way through. Good atmosphere that really puts you in the game, awsome stealth kills when you fade into mist, and interesting levels that are very alive. Enemies are awesome! This game just kept me intrigued the whole way through, and I was disappointed when it was finally over. Very good game and recommended highly.
Summary: I was trying to replace my previous game when I ordered this one used from the dealer. It arrived in good time but unfortunately it would not function. The dealer was very courteous and refunded my money right away. I also did not have to return the non-working disc. I will probably still use the dealer again.
Summary: Love this whole series. The gameplay takes some getting used to, but is fun and versatile, even for a button masher like me. The graphics were good for their time, and the soundtrack is lovely, if a bit cliche for the genre. The voice acting is the best part for me, as the actors are truly spectacular throughout the whole series. I only wish there were more games after Defiance to play.
Summary: Still this game is good to play, yeah it's all about killing, blood sucking and solving very easy puzzles but the cool atmosphere, soundtracks and the good combat may keep you playing this game till the end. I wish i played this in 2002 when it came out.
Summary: in my opinion this is a good and the best vampire game, i have ever played. the story line is excellent. before starting to play i expected that blood omen 2 would be more exciting and interesting before starting to play. blood omen is the part of the legacy of kain series, which has 5 installments. recommend you to play each of the game series.
Summary: The only thing I did not like about this game, is that the very first boss battle made me want to quit for good. I spent like 2 days on the same boss and I still did not defeat it. I mean does the first boss have to be that tough? BO2 was fun to play, up to that point. I thought the graphics looked ok, not bad, but not the greatest. Sucking blood is all I seemed to do. Although, I did not complete the full game, so maybe there is more to it.
Summary: I got this for a grand total of about $3.30 including tax, so my expectations are lower than if I'd purchased this game brand new at full price. I played Soul Reaver 2 before this game. Blood Omen 2 is a prequel of sorts to that that game. Since they're in the same series, I can compare to them somewhat. It's kind of disappointing that the camera and some of the combat took a turn for the worse in this game.
Summary: Blood Omen was legendary PS one game (which you MUST play, don't complain to me about outdated graphics, now!). We had Soul Reaver which disappointed fans of Blood Omen because game was much different: it was puzzle a la Lara Croft set up in fantasy world of Nosgoth (published by Eidos). Blood Omen 2 is not even an attempt to remake Blood Omen 1 in 3D, like many people expected.

Summary: All in all this is a great game. I had this for Xbox originally, so I never had to deal with the alleged glitches. I hope I won't when I re-buy this for ps2. >< Anyways you are Kain, an arrogant, cocky vampire with a huge superiority complex. When the game starts you get your @$$ handed to you by some dude named the Sarafan Lord. Kain makes an alliance with Uma I think her name was. He goes across Norrath kills Sarafan, Hyldan, and a bunch of other things along the way.
Summary: If you do not follow the LOK games skip it the gameplay is stiff and annoying if you know the LOK story tis worth putting in your libary the gameplay is weak but all the games since Soul reaver have had many gameplay issues. Edios did not keep their devs in check this has Voradore living when he died before the pillars fell,of coarse time travel is a option for some in any case thats the only part of the story that dosent follow the rest of the series well.
