Summary: well i bought this game shortly after it came out and for the first few months i loved it the dirty hits the injuries i thought it was all great the load times were horribly long and after working to beat the story line for a bit it was a huge let down once i beat the game i hoped it would go on to maybe another division since they kept saying that the league was three tier all logic told me you would go through all tiers ..
Summary: I am an old school football purist who appreciates realistic simulations like NCAA & Madden. I usually don't pay any attention to arcade style games like NFL Street, etc. mainly due to the mindless silliness and unrealistic gameplay that turn football fans like me off. But, Blitz has always been an amusing detour if you need a timeout from the real gridiron so here's a nice review for those of you who fancy the idea at giving this one a look.
Summary: Remember the series Playmakers on ESPN? That's pretty much what they modeled this game after. They kept some of the WWE stlyed hits (Powerbomb, bulldogs ect) The game play is ok, it takes way to long to load though. The editing players feature is kind of nice although limited. I don't care for some of the music/language in this game, and the "blood" at times seems to be a bit uncalled for. I still would have bought it, but I'll probably trade it in as soon as I beat it.
Summary: I think that Blitz the Leaque is a pretty good game. One reson why I like it is because of the gameplay and graphics. One thing that i don't really like about it is that it reminds me of NFL street.
Summary: This game seemed to have good potential with good music, good and fun gameplay, and nice features like customizing your teams and players. Unfortunately, the AI in one-player mode is the cheapest I have ever seen (even with difficulty level set to easy). For example, don't expect the opposing team to need more than 20 seconds to score on you.
Summary: To start off ive played all the blitz games before and Blitz;the league well... I though it was going to be better than what it was hyped up to be. If you have seen the videos for this game, the graphics look awesome. But the graphics arent as good as they look in the videos. The game takes about 2mins to load/save just for a simple thing. Theres no point for some of the cursing in this game and the clash mode is pretty cheap.
Summary: I first heard about this game when it received negative attention in the newspapers for being so violent. I then heard it was being "endorsed" by Lawrence Taylor (because once you show up in the wrestling ring, it's all downhill from there). This game was very disappointing. The storyline is AWEFUL. The cut scenes look very archaic and are, well, boring. If you play in full season mode, your objective is to win the league championship.
Summary: This game is fun but i thought it would be alot better than this.First off the graphics are okay but not he best. Its fun to break tackles and break bones in this game with big hits! But the loading period is way to long. Its not like Madden or your typical football game in a way its like street. Please RENT THIS GAME before you buy it and waste money on it.Luckily i rented it and saved 40 or 50 dollars. But if you loved the old Blitz games like i did you should love this one...
