  • Summary: The edgiest football game since NFL Blitz (actually it's more edger than that). It's amazing how this game has more originality, story and gameplay than all Madden games after 2005.

Much Better

PsychoSocial , GameStop

  • Summary: Blitz has always been a great football franchise and Blitz the League takes it to a whole new level. I never got tired of dirty hitting people and causing around 5 to 10 injuries in a game. Using the clash meter when running is nice too since you can slow down your opponents and increase your chances of completely dominating in a game. Career mode is also nice since it isn't impossible yet it isn't as easy as quick play can be.

Do you want to feel the pain?

Brian "Brian", Amazon
15 January 2008
  • Summary: If you do, buy this game. I have not played in any other mode besides campaign mode; however, in campaign mode the computer has super-human powers. Someone could have a monster lead in this game and the computer would find a way to come back in the fourth quarter. • Summary: well i bought this game shortly after it came out and for the first few months i loved it the dirty hits the injuries i thought it was all great the load times were horribly long and after working to beat the story line for a bit it was a huge let down once i beat the game i hoped it would go on to maybe another division since they kept saying that the league was three tier all logic told me you would go through all tiers ..

Good, but needs second edition

T. Hawk, Amazon

  • Summary: I loved the game but when there was no second making (next season) I immediately sold it off. No need to own a game that when you see something cool, it will never be there again.

A Purist's Opinion

Lord Kayoss, Amazon
11 September 2006
  • Summary: I am an old school football purist who appreciates realistic simulations like NCAA & Madden. I usually don't pay any attention to arcade style games like NFL Street, etc. mainly due to the mindless silliness and unrealistic gameplay that turn football fans like me off. But, Blitz has always been an amusing detour if you need a timeout from the real gridiron so here's a nice review for those of you who fancy the idea at giving this one a look.
