Excerpt: From the creator of Rayman , Beyond Good and Evil creates a wonderfully imaginative world and forms it into a memorable and enjoyable adventure. Rarely, outside of adventures staring a certain young elf-boy from Nintendo, has an adventure been both engaging storywise and by the sheer ambiance that...
Pros: Wonderfully realized audio and visuals, Camera-based gameplay nicely implemented, Great story
Cons: Combat is lightweight, Minor framerate issues
Excerpt: In the future (four hundred years or so), you will have to take on the role of a female photojournalist in order to sift through a thick plot and large storyline. In this future you will be armed with your friends, a stick and a camera (yes, a camera).
Excerpt: I think most of the games I decide to buy on a random whim after seeing them advertised have never let me down. I saw the advert for Beyond Good and Evil, and seeing how it's a genre I've never really played before, decided to try my luck out on the game. And I adore the game.
Pros: + Pros-Brilliant graphics and game play
Cons: - Cons-Some parts of the game were a bit difficult

Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Absolutely not to be missed. BG&E is as close as your going to get to Zelda on PS2 or Xbox, and the only thing besides Zelda on the Cube. This game really is comparable to Zelda in many respects, it's that good, and if that doesn't say something I don't know what will.

Pros: Great story & characters, some truly original and well integrated gameplay elements, fantastic soundtrack.
Cons: A couple of extra levels would have been nice, but I’m grasping at straws to find anything.
