I don't like it as much as the first.

Summary: I really loved the first Baldur's Gate for PS2 so I was really disappointed when I started playing this one. I didn't like the new armor eating enemies. I know they were trying to make some exploration dangerous and more exciting, but un-equipping/re-equipping all of your metal armor was a real...
Summary: I had just finished playing the first Dark Alliance with a friend this past November, so I didn't have too long to wait for this sequel. I thoroughly enjoyed the first game with its brilliant graphics and challenging levels, so DA2 had a lot to live up to.
Summary: a year or so ago, after playing the first BGate, I thought this was an easy to get used to and addicting game to play. Hack and slash for gold and search weapon racks to collect hardware, open treasure chests for plunder and visit a local merchant via depending on what part of the map you were on to...
Summary: Hopefully with BG:DA2 they've improved the few flaws that BG:DA had... namely the playtime, overwhelming numbers of monsters you had to fight, lack of a good storyline and nowhere near enough sidequests... though i did love the pure hack and slash mentality of the first game...
Summary: I rated this game as follows: the graphics are great, compared to the 1st one, the story line isn't too bad, but, on a scale of 1-10, the aggravation level leans towards a 7 or 8, due to the boss, Mordoc, is annoyingly impossible to harm.
Summary: I think the only reason the Dark Alliance series had the name "Baldur's Gate" was for sales. The original Baldur's Gate series on PC were epic. Almost unbeleivable in how expansive and unique everything was. Dark Alliance is nothing like it.
Summary: This one didn't have as good of a storyline as the first. It didn't seem to be as hard as the first one either. It felt to me that it didn't expand very far level wise. The graphics were awsome and being able to customize weapons was great.
Summary: I had a great time playing this game right up until the end. I ended up at 24th level with not much upgraded equipment due to rust monsters. Even worse I cannot go back to other areas and build my character up more so that I can be more powerful against the last boss now that I reached him.
