  • Summary: Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II is very good, but it's certainly not the greatest Action RPG. With solid gameplay mechanics, a relatively long lifespan and a decent multiplayer mode, it should keep RPG fans who are looking for a more action occupied role playing game for weeks, maybe even months.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II

The Next Level
3 February 2004
  • Excerpt: The dark action-RPG was born with Diablo, and perfected with Diablo II. And until Blizzard makes another action-RPG, Diablo II is the final word on the PC. This is great for everyone who owns a PC, but what about console owners? Hmm.
