Summary: My son has always loved this game. His sister broke it and we forgot all about it until this Holiday. He is very happy with the game, even with, it not being here in time for christmas. It made his christmas. Thank you.
Summary: I grew up playing the Backyard games, baseball in particular, and this is the best version. Though this is from 2005, the graphics are pretty good. Gameplay was smooth and easy. Although this didn't come with a manual, so I don't know how to advance to the next base, so I'm hitting singles and home runs all day. This game is perfect.
Summary: My son started playing this game on the PC with his cousin. They have so much fun I thought I would try and find it for him and discovered I could get it for our Playstation 2. My son loves it!
Summary: I love Backyard Baseball and it is my favorite game. I like it both on PC and video game but I like the PC version the best. In this game, you get to create your own team with major league players and backyard kids and even custom kids. You also get Home Run Derby and Baseball Darts too and you can unlock fields and different players even Barry DeJay plays on this. This is a great game and I highly recommend this game to everyone, buy it!!
Summary: This is a cute game with fun graphics but my only complaint is that it takes forever to load! I like this game because I can have a team that is built up of pro players and kids. In this game you can chooose the difficulty, which is good. If you pick easy it is great for little kids because it is so easy to get a hit.
Summary: Backyard Baseball for the PS2 is a very fun and addicting game. The only bad part is that you don't all the Major Leaguers at the beginning of the game, you have to earn them. This game is easy to master and has a variety of different playing fields. If you liked the Backyard Baseball on the computer you should buy this game.
Summary: This games is cool! I like that you can Trade Players. The PC series were Boring! The PS2 series rocks! You can pick All-Star players like A-Rod, Eric Gagne, Ichiro, and more. The Outfield in this game is OK, but needs work. The accuracy for throwing is good, but you have to press the X botton without pressing the analog stick up or down, to throw to the nearest bace. The opposite occurs to the fatherest bace. Confusing, I KNOW!! But overall it is a GREAT GAME!!
Summary: The game is VERY good. With great graphics, players, and fields. You can unlock all kinds of stuff! You can unlock Pedro Martinez, Derek Jeter, Randy Johnson and 3 more players. The game takes kind of long but the rest rocks! For pro players you start off with A-Rod, Eric Gnagh, Ichiro, Sammy Sosa & many more. You should buy this game if you like baseball!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: We got Backyard Baseball for our son and he loves it. It is easy enough so he likes to keep playing it but challenging enough that he doesn't get bored. The characters are all really compelling and friendly (no blood and guts here folks) and they interact in fun and interesting ways. We really liked the gameplay. The action and graphics are smooth. The controls are natrual and intuitive and the music is catchy and fun (not the cheezy stuff that drives us nuts).
