Summary: This game stinks. When you think you have a double they throw it in to the second base man and usually get you out.A lot of times when the ball is like ten yards down they usually make the catch unbelieveable!! this game is not worth the money.
Summary: This is the most realistic Baseball game I have ever owned. The Franchise mode is amazing. The players look realistic and it really looks like you are playing baseball. There are a few problems. If you are in the lead the ather team comes back in the next few innings, so it is extremely hard to win. If you want a relistic baseball game then this is the one for you.
Summary: All Star Baseball is the best baseball game for PS2. But it still needs a little work. Pros: Excellent graphics Great Commentary Detailed Create-A-Player Expansion and Franchise mode Great Sim game Scores aren't always 26-20 like they are on Triple Play (the scores are usually something around 7-4) Mid-Windup Pickoff Attempt Future throw makes your throws get to the base quickly Broken Bats Mascots Cons: Batting Cursor is hard Hard to baserun Without the future throw, my...
Summary: Let me start out by saying that before you read any further go buy High Heat 2003. All Star 2003 might possibly be the worst, most annoying game I've ever played in my life....and I've played many many baseball games. For starters, there is NO way to shut off the auto instant replay!! And I'm not talking about replays after homers, I'm talking about the stupid replay they show every time a batter hits the ball....whether it's a home run or a ground ball to short.
The best PS2 baseball game still needs some tweaking

Summary: For realism, playability and sheer fun for baseball fans, Acclaim's All-Star Baseball 2003 is tops! As a gamer who always takes the tough road to victory by playing coach, this game offers a coaching mode that rewards good coaching and penalizes dumb coaching decisions. The graphics are excellent.
Summary: I gave this game 4/5 stars beacause there are good and bad parts about this game[more good parts] some of the good parts are franchise mode, fantasy draft, expansion mode, and the bonus stadiums these stadiums include Ebbets Field,Classic Yankee Stadium and Classic Wrigley Field! The bad parts are:first off it's too hard to play next it takes you a very long time to play a game and last you're either done playing a game or you're stuck playing it until you're done you can't...
Summary: Like all Baseball games, the season is long. After all, there's no way you can play 162 games in 4 days unless you simulate games and that's no fun. But anyway, this was a good game. Graphics are pretty basic, the commentators aren't as annoying as any of the John Madden series games and all in all, it's good for all ages. Not much more to say than that. But in any case give this game a shot because it might grow on you. Have fun!
Summary: I think that All-Star Baseball 2003 for PS2 is an absolute wonderful game. There is only one thing wrong though. WHY ISN'T YOUR TEAM SMART?! I love this game a whole lot better than Final Fantasy X but my team just ... me off! I have all the best players, of those including A-Rod, Miguel Tejada (Best Player In The Game!), and Luis Gonzalez, but they just don't know how to hit or field.
Summary: this game is pretty good. Pros: Realistic Good Gameplay Collisions at home Players Charge the mound but don't fight. Cons: Hard to field Hard to bat If you throw at a player twice you are ejected.
Summary: This was a really good game good graphics good sound. The only thing that I didn't really like was it dosen't tell you what the buttons are and it dosent show where the ball is going to be before the pitcher throws it, they show it at the last second. Thats allright though it makes it a little more challenging and I will always like a challenge.
