Summary: This game stinks. When you think you have a double they throw it in to the second base man and usually get you out.A lot of times when the ball is like ten yards down they usually make the catch unbelieveable!! this game is not worth the money.
The best PS2 baseball game still needs some tweaking

Summary: For realism, playability and sheer fun for baseball fans, Acclaim's All-Star Baseball 2003 is tops! As a gamer who always takes the tough road to victory by playing coach, this game offers a coaching mode that rewards good coaching and penalizes dumb coaching decisions. The graphics are excellent.
Summary: I gave this game 4/5 stars beacause there are good and bad parts about this game[more good parts] some of the good parts are franchise mode, fantasy draft, expansion mode, and the bonus stadiums these stadiums include Ebbets Field,Classic Yankee Stadium and Classic Wrigley Field! The bad parts are:first off it's too hard to play next it takes you a very long time to play a game and last you're either done playing a game or you're stuck playing it until you're done you can't...
Summary: First of all i would like to say this is the most realistic baseball game i've ever played it has everything from the train sound at Seattle's Safeco Field to the home fans at Wrigley throwing the opposing team's homerun ball back. This game has way more realism than TP 2002,High Heat and Sega's World Series, some of it's amazing details include: Takeout slides, Players charging the mound, player ejections, Team Mascots, and Active Bullpens, the list goes on and on so...
Summary: First of all, i would like to say at first it is a tad hard to hit, so some of the bad reviews were right, but they didn't have enough patients in this game, because i've had it since may and already i can beat it on Veteran mode, here are some pros and cons. PROS .It is the most detailed realistic baseball game i've ever played.
Summary: 4 stars...that's right, 4. Why? See cons for the reason. Let's talk graphics, I own the PS2 & GameCube versions and I have to edge to PS2. Some may think I'm crazy, but there's just a slight more stability than Nintendo's. Both are beautifully rendered and attractive. Though...let's get a little more realism in the gameplay. An umpire or base coach diving out of the way is cool, but how many players sit huddled up after an out?
Hitting is difficult, but everything thing else = A+

Summary: BAD- Hitting the ball in All-Star mode is very difficult. (strikeouts are extremely common0, but in Veteran mode it is far too easy (I had a .370 team average after the first 6 games)I usually have about 13 K's/game. GOOD- The graphics are amazing. Everything is so realistic - you hit a fly ball to right field and you can see Mariano Rivera warming up in the pen, you hit a liner down the first base line and the coach ducks.
Summary: I only have a few problems with the game, although it's basically the best there is. #1. Drag bunting. It's impossible. The drag is one of the easiest things to do in real life but you can never do it in this game. #2. Pitching. Some of the pichers that should be tough are impossible to hit (Clemens, Wells) Other pwer pichers are easy to hit. Less emphasis on the breaking stuff, and more on the heat. #3. Players throw to slow. You'll never get anyone out in a run down.
Summary: ASB 2003 has really great graphics but it needs more options. When you play exibition you can't choose the stadium or time of day. When you want to change the line up you have to go through several steps to change. I have to admit that the game play is very cool. The graghics are great and the stadiums are very real along with the fans. It also has details with peoples stance and items they use in the feild.
Summary: Ok, ok, I know that the last time I wrote a review about ASB 2003 I was a bit harsh and cold, well, I played it some more and I must say that I definetly change my mind. I play this every night, EVERY night, regardless of any new game I get, ASB 2003 is my nightlight. The trouble (if you remember) I had before was the hitting, but one feature I had completely overlooked was the batting practice. Can you say "Aced it" boys and girls?.. sure you can.
