Baseball Video Game from 1983

  • Summary: This game has nothing to engage any player. The game interface is so hard to use that you will want to give up after just a few games. Once you do realize how to use the controls it becomes clear that the game is just slow to respond making it frustrating to play and a complete waste of time. I'm suprised they would even put this on the market when other far better games exist. This is like playing baseball on the Apple IIe.

No fun at all - a guessing game!

  • Summary: Ok. I'll agree with the other users that the graphics are amazing. But that's where I stop. Realistic? NO! How are you supposed to hit a curveball that allegedly is traveling at 81 MPH yet reaches the catcher's mitt less than a 10th of a second after it's thrown? The answer is just swing and hope you guessed where the ball is going to end up. That's right - the game is purely guessing.

Bad, just bad

  • Summary: I am writing this review so that someone won't make the same mistake I made. The graphics are good however the gameplay is flat out horrible. One time I was batting and the other pitcher had just thrown me strike two. Then the count was erased and the same player came up to the plate and the at-bat started over again. Another time there was one out and after I threw to first base for the second out, the inning ended.
