Summary: The hitting interface in this game is awful. When the computer throws fastballs up in the corner or anywhere besides the target, then you can't hit it. What I do is wait for a pitch to come down the middle and swing the bat. I wish I could get my money back for this piece of trash. I mean, how fun is a game where you can't hit the ball??? Akklaim needs some help.
Summary: This game stinks. When you think you have a double they throw it in to the second base man and usually get you out.A lot of times when the ball is like ten yards down they usually make the catch unbelieveable!! this game is not worth the money.
The best PS2 baseball game still needs some tweaking

Summary: For realism, playability and sheer fun for baseball fans, Acclaim's All-Star Baseball 2003 is tops! As a gamer who always takes the tough road to victory by playing coach, this game offers a coaching mode that rewards good coaching and penalizes dumb coaching decisions. The graphics are excellent.
Summary: I gave this game 4/5 stars beacause there are good and bad parts about this game[more good parts] some of the good parts are franchise mode, fantasy draft, expansion mode, and the bonus stadiums these stadiums include Ebbets Field,Classic Yankee Stadium and Classic Wrigley Field! The bad parts are:first off it's too hard to play next it takes you a very long time to play a game and last you're either done playing a game or you're stuck playing it until you're done you can't...
Summary: Yep, if you are willing to take the time to learn what the game can really do this is one heck of a baseball simulation and tremendously fun at the same time. There are some really essential options in this game that let you customize it to whatever realism and whatever difficulty you want. for example, you can turn off the pitching Icon and the vibration so that you have to pitch on "Feel".
Summary: It looks like there are NO good baseball games this year. This game is much better in gameplay, and graphics than high heat 2003. It doesnt get boring as quick as high heat. Also, the schedual SEEMS to be from this years, not like high heat. I say you should rent both because they are both fun.....for about 3 days.
Summary: This game is pretty cool until it won't let you hit ball. The graphics are good but it is not worth your money and time. Don't buy it. I could never figure out how to steal bases. Controls are confusing.
Summary: First of all i would like to say this is the most realistic baseball game i've ever played it has everything from the train sound at Seattle's Safeco Field to the home fans at Wrigley throwing the opposing team's homerun ball back. This game has way more realism than TP 2002,High Heat and Sega's World Series, some of it's amazing details include: Takeout slides, Players charging the mound, player ejections, Team Mascots, and Active Bullpens, the list goes on and on so...
Summary: First of all, i would like to say at first it is a tad hard to hit, so some of the bad reviews were right, but they didn't have enough patients in this game, because i've had it since may and already i can beat it on Veteran mode, here are some pros and cons. PROS .It is the most detailed realistic baseball game i've ever played.
Summary: I had to give this game five stars because it's the best game ever. I've never played High Heat or Triple Play but the commercials look like the graphics suck. Also it has realismto baseball, unlike Slugfest 2002. You don't beat up guys or have a baseball knock you over in real baseball, but that is how it is in Slugfest. Everyone says that the hitting is difficultin All-Star, but not me.
