Summary: I bought this game when I had just come out of hospital and was off work for a long time. There wasn't a lot I could do and I thought this would be just the kind of game to keep me interested over a period of time. To say the least, it wasn't quite what I was expecting.
Summary: I bought this in the hope that it would be a little like sim city, I wasn't expecting the same game but from reviews I'd read I was led to believe that it was along the same lines but with more emphasis on trains. This however was not the case.
Summary: If you're buying this game with the same thought as i did don't..I got this game expecting it to be in the same kind of style as theme park world, theme hospital, the sims etc. It isn't at all so avoid it if you want the same.
Summary: I love strategy games, especially ones with a management element to it, such as Theme Park, Railroad Tycoon, Sim City etc. The PS2 has always been a bit short of games like this, so when a stumbled across this game I just had to have it.
Summary: This is quite simply the best strategy / sim type game I have ever played on PS2. The attention to detail is brilliant. Its not just about building a train network, although that in itself is great fun, it is more like sim city.
Summary: As a rail-lover, when I heard about A-Train6 i was overjoyed. A fan of Railroad Tycoon and Sim City 4, it sounded like the perfect game for me. However, I was mistaken. The gameplay is incredibly hard to get into, not helped by the awful game manual, which offers very little help at all.
Summary: This game is brilliant if you use your Playstation as a way to pass a couple of hours before doing "something less boring instead" in the words of Why Don't You! Its lethal if you play these kinds of games on a regular basis. I work full time so only really play at weekends.
