Great story and incredible game!
28 November 2014
Summary: Just finished it up, it took me around 33 to 34 hours to go over the whole story, and it should have take more if I did not search for the solutions about puzzles. Some of them are really hard, and I cannot image how long it will take if I try to make it all by myself. Those who enjoy solving puzzles should have a try. For me ,what I like most for this game is the surprise twist in the story-line and the Voices.
Summary: This is really a great game i have ever played!!! Although the navigation feeling is a little not as comfortable as 3DS version, It still a perfect escape game!!! And about logic is much better than Dangan Rompa 1&2. If you really like Puzzle and escape, do not miss it!!!
Summary: Like every novel, it's necessary to read in between lines at times or simply enjoy what's going on. Virtue's Last Reward is a very worthy sequel to 999, standing in a league of its own. Actually, it's not even necessary to play 999 to understand fully what's going on, but to get the full experience it is very recommendable to know at least the characters and the overall plot of 999.
Summary: If you like visual novels then buy this game. The puzzles are extremely well designed and the intellect that's been put into this game will question your very reality. Quantum physics, time travel, and all that good stuff. If you buy this game new, you'll be supporting the 3rd game to come out... which may not ever come.
Summary: The gameplay, the story, they were both amazing. When i was playing this game, I just had to keep on going. It was like reading a book, lol. The escape game and the novel section was really great. Reading + Puzzles <3 I will keep playing this game for a long time.
Summary: Already knew that I would like this game because I had read an LP of 999 and part of an LP about this game. LP is short for Let's Play, and I was reading screenshot and text LPs over at Something Awful. Anyway, the LP on VLR (this game) was going pretty slowly, so I decided to just buy the game and throw some money over in Aksys' direction. They more than deserve it for making great games like this.
Summary: It shouldn't be a secret to most that the actual gameplay of both this game and its predecessor, 999, consists of little more than an "escape the room'-type puzzle. Still fun and entertaining on their own as both puzzles and as a way to get to know the characters a little more but the meat of it all is the story. the betrayals. the mysteries. the intrigue.
Summary: I liked it a lot. Loved the story, the characters, how everything is priced together. You could stop after one end or you could get them all and learn the whole story. It's definitely not for people who want crazy action. The puzzles where fun too.
