Summary: Most of the other reviews you read about this game I agree with to an extent. This game has wonderful graphics, controls, mechanics, and a wide range of missions of varying objectives, duration, and difficulty. The bottom line, however, is that there is no plot whatsoever. This is why I enjoyed this game for only about 2 hours. After that, it just gets repetitive; the missions feel monotonous and there aren't enough maps to keep me interested.
Summary: This was my first shooter for Vita, and I loved it! The missions were thrilling and funny, the co-op mode wasn't laggy at all, and the graphics are great for a Vita launch title. My cons would be that the frame rate will drop in some spots on certain misiions, but only for a second, and that enemies pop up out of nowhere after you complete a task. Still, it's an overall great shooter.
Summary: I'd love to say I enjoyed Unit 13. I'd love to say that it's point based gameplay and level up system had me addicted and obsessed. I'd love to praise it for it's originality and bravery in service to the vita and the stealth game genre but I can't. Yes the game is fun. Yes the guns and characters are deep and picking which ones for which missions is often strategic and entertaining but there is one huge problem. The AI is horrendous.
Summary: By saing this myself I"m not really a big fan of third person shooter games but, this is just way off the charts. As you an see this game has very nice graphics, an awsome gameplay, and a good and easy to follow set and interesting missions. Would I choose this game over the major Call Of Duty series? Well, no but, a game like this is well in he range of being a game as great as Call Of Duty.
Summary: its got guns!! you can shoot people in FPS mode its gotta be awesome...right? ....wrong, nice looking game, if cod rocks your world then you will like this game because you go around and shoot people for no real reason. you have a bunch of different mission types, like a speed one where you have to go in and shoot every one, a hostage one where... you go in and shoot every one... there's a stealth one, where.... you go in and shoot every one.
Summary: I'm disappointed in this game. First off, I did not like the fact that it is missions based and as a result, there is no storyline. Secondly, I don't like certain maps where you have to do the same thing over and over again if you fail it. It gets very repetitive very quickly. The AI of your enemies are predictable. Overall, I didn't find that this was a very intuitive game.
Summary: When I first picked up my vita over a month ago, I instantly downloaded the demo for Unit 13. While I thought the demo was good, I was sure it would be way better when the full version released. Well, it wasn't. It played exactly like the demo which isn't bad, it just could've been better. The gunplay is great, the graphics are incredible for a handheld, and the whole idea of the "mobile gaming" was a good one. That being said, there were some issues.
