Too high an asking price for too mediocre a game

Summary: I bought Super Monkey Ball for Vita mostly out of a misplaced sense of nostalgia. I was a huge fan of the original Gamecube game, spending all hours of the night with college friends playing Monkey Target and other great minigames. And 11 years later, I was ready to recapture that fun. Unfortunately, that's all SMBBS really is: fan service and little more. All the components are still there: solid level design in the main challenges, minigames, and so on.
Summary: I'm sorry to rain on this game, but this is truly awful. I like the race modes, adventure, things like that, but this particular monkey ball game doesn't have any of that, just the puzzle mode and a couple of mini games that get old fast. That and the menu design is atrocious with its very hands on use of the touch screen. The PSP monkey ball game, monkey ball adventure, is far more pleasing than this game and I would suggest playing that instead.
vita needs better games. No need to buy this if you've played it on a smartphone

Summary: Good but simple. Also very confusing on how to start from a check point. If you play with it next time you have to do over and over again some stages (maybe complete 20 in a row and then they will be ready for picking one of them, i dont know).Graphics could be better.I think only upcoming dead or alive will show the true possibilities of the vita.
