A great port of some great games
31 October 2014
Summary: A great port of some great games. The sub-native resolution and other visual downgrades don't really harm the game at all, and the Cross-Save system is a pain to use but works flawlessly. Even the controls, which could have easily gone bad, have been translated fairly well. A must-own for any Vita owner (just play MGS1 on PS1 classics first!).
Summary: The very first game that I owned on the Playstation 2 was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. When I purchased my PS Vita this was on my list of games that I must have. Not only did it come with one of my favorite Metal Gear games, it included MGS3: Snake Eater. I never got to play Snake Eater when it was originally released. Hailed as one of the best MGS games at the time, I had to play that one first. I found both games to be a great amount of fun.
Summary: I love the metal gear solid series have played many of the games from this series except for 1 or 2 that was made for the psp. This one needed to have the psp game included as its included in the ps3 version which is can be used to continue on between handheld and system. If you are a fan of Metal gear this is a game for you as the graphics on the vita are great. The controls take some getting use to through.
Summary: I give the game 5 stars easily. These two games are childhood memories I still play today and to think I can play it while traveling now is a dream come true. Only thing is that the seller stuck it to me when it came to price. It was around last year on Black Friday. I payed around $80 for a game that is now back down to $30. But this game is one if only reason I bought the Vita.
Summary: Fantastic graphics, even though it lags at times. The lag isn't major (not Jak and Daxter bad, but mildly noticeable). VERY good game, and if you have a Vita, you'll enjoy this heavily. Go for it. At the price this is going for these days, it's worth the risk!
Summary: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" didn't quite end up as people expected. The opening section takes place on a Tanker being infiltrated by Solid Snake, who's on a mission to get evidence of a new Metal Gear. This acts as a 1-2 hour prologue to the main part of the game, which takes place on the "Big Shell," a huge oil rig-looking structure with multiple connecting platforms and pathways.
Best port on the vita, price is too high though, suggest you buy on psn

Summary: The port of this game is (in my opinion anyway) the best port on the psvita, the graphics are great considering its a handheld device and the controls aren't lacking in any department. There are no problems with the game at all, the biggest problem is the price, I bought this game used so I got it for less than 30 but if your buying it new it might cost more, I'd suggest getting this on psn, now it does eat up a chunk of your memory but its only 30 dollars on psn.
Some of the most emotional story moments I've ever experienced are in MGS2.MGS3 is great too.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is one of my top 10 favorite games of all-time,Metal Gear Solid 3 is also great and is one of my favorite games from the 6th gen.Peace Walker was nothing special for me. Metal Gear Solid 2's story is set between the years 2007 and 2009 and much of the story focuses on a character named Raiden.I love Metal Gear Solid 2 mainly for it's emotional love story which...
