Summary: I will be honest. I don't play this game at all when im at home. But when im on the go, driving somewhere far, i find this game to realy pass time. Not only that it is fun to beat your friends scores. Be careful though because if you have a long streak going and you mess up and loose, you may throw your vita, i almost did...Either way this game is very fun.
Summary: I was expecting this game to be another spin off of Tetris with a small twist but what I found was a lot more. The game is to match 4 blocks of the same color, 2x2 squares and there are only two colors. This may sound easy but the blocks change color and shape based on level. It becomes more difficult on the levels that have similar block color and a weird shape.
Pros: Casual but also challenging, musical puzzle, decent song tracks, the "World Block"
Cons: Lack of online versus play (only ad-hoc), can reach the level cap of 50 in 3 days doing the World Block co-op
Summary: For those who have not played a Lumines game before, I would describe them as a bit of Tetris with music elements as well. Blocks fall down from the top of the screen and you rotate them to try and match up like colors, which then destroys clusters of blocks. As you move the blocks back and forth you also cause different sound effects that mix into the music. Each stage, or skin as they call them in Lumines, has unique background music.
Summary: This game is the best version of Lumines ever and I have had them all [yes even the terrible Xperia Play version]. If you ever liked or loved Lumines then you must buy this game as a priority for your Vita!! The audio and visuals are mesmerizing!! I think the song tracks and the graphics for each level surpass all the other versions. Nothing but 10's for this game. Go buy it now and be sure to wear the Vita earbuds!!!!
Summary: Amazing game. I can't say enough about it. It injects the brain with super stimulus. The game looks awesomely 3d, Its a total overload. The controls are good, the music is the absolute best, the leveling system is nice and all from a game I initially had no interest in. Its time for someone to drive Tetris to the old person's home cuz its time for it to retire.
Summary: Yeah I think this is a quick pick-up n play game for gamers that play a variety of games. I don't think its something that can get into depth afterall it's a puzzle game anyway... The music is ok but it would be nice if they kind of added some music from people that are popular as a refresher. If you like techno music/ puzzles than this is good for you......yay!
Summary: I'm still an avid player of tetris on the gameboy colour, but Lumines has grabbed my attention away a little bit. I loved it on the PSP so snapped it up on vita (much cheaper on Amazon than on the PS store) and my wife and I have hardly spoken since other than to say "get off the Vita, it's my turn"!
Summary: I can't rate this game highly enough. yes it's just a block deleting puzzle game but it's so much fun and perfect for the vita. This is almost identical to the psp version, so if you have played that you know what your getting. It has great replay value and is perfect for when you start to get a bit bored of your other games.
