Summary: Very good choice for those who liked Ragnarok Odyssey and Soul Sacrifice. Basic knowledge of Japanese will help you (game has neat story told via anime cutscenes), but it's not necessary to play. It's really shocking that this game is not out in the West (Square Enix!!! Aaargh!), so do yourself a favor and just import it. It feels great smashing monsters into juicy, red meaty chunks. Actually, combat feels way meatier than Ragnarok Odyssey.
Summary: If Capcom has MH and Namco has GEB, SquareEnix has this game. The game plays a lot of the games I mentioned and basically it's fun if you have someone to play it with. The addition of memory blocks(data) within the game stick is nice since not most new PSVita owners have memory card to begin with. The game is playable without prior knowledge of Japanese primarily because it follows a standard RPG layout. This is another nice addition for RPG fans who owns the system.
Summary: This is way superior than Lord of Arcana. More weapon types & gears, more bosses which means more fun and replay value. There are also main characters that join you in a party as you progress through the story. SE also made plenty of changes to the battle system, fixing flaws that were in Lord of Arcana.
Summary: It is a really fun game! The levels are nicely done and the grapics are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this game if you a RPG fan and really like to slay monsters, then it's a good choice.
Summary: awesome rpg. great story and graphics. there is a ton of content and a hell of a lot of quests and items. there is an option to upgrade your equipment and cards, which are like super spells. you can get by reading a little japanese or even none at all. definitely 5 stars. if you like monster hunter or rpgs, you.
