Pretty Bad 3DS Port
7 October 2013
Summary: As others have mentioned this is a 3DS port of the lego game, unfortunately there was no effort made to make it look good on the vita. Even if they didn't rework the whole game the cut scenes could have been re-rendered in a higher resolution.
Summary: Shrunken down linear adventure version of a game that should have been the open world experience that the console version had. They kept the details about the vita gameplay quiet until it released, the vita is the only handheld out there that could have handled the full game and Sony fumbled a...
Summary: I intially played the demo for this game on the Nintendo 3DS and stupidly assumed it would be even better on Playstation Vita. Boy, was I wrong. First up, the cutscenes are blurry. Last up, the cutscenes are blurry. What century are we living in?
shameless false advertisng!! no open world, no vehicles, substandard graphics
25 December 2012
Summary: You know that game you've been seeing great reviews for on IGN, Gametrailers, etc? The one with the awesome open world & vehicles & discovery out the wazoo? Well, this is not that game, but they want you to think it is.
Summary: I can't believe telltales games is releasing the game like this on the vita, I've been waiting for this game to come out and then I learn that it's only a 3ds port! Still they ask 40 bucks out of this, no less, even on the PS store.
Summary: First let me say I gave the game a 3 for fun and a 1 for overall score why? because for someone who is unaware of the 3ds port mostly children/uniformed casual gamers will somewhat enjoy it, it's a lego game with the same formula as previous lego games.
Summary: so the Vita can play full ps3 games right? maybe not... This game is all around disappointing. I can live without the open world, but the shorter levels are ridiculous. If you do pick up the console version you will see the difference immediately.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!! The vita has been shown to have PS3 graphics so this version should be like the ps3 version but it's got rubbish cinematics, no use of right analog sticks. This was a terrible buy if you have another console buy it for that as the vita version is ABYSMAL!!!
The sort of game that tells you buying a Vita was a mistake

Summary: By now it should be fairly obvious that Vita ports of the Lego franchise are the lowest quality, and best avoided if possible. Even as a portable lighthearted game it's got few redeeming qualities, and I got it free from PS+. On the Vita, the hint system is at its worst.
