There's no middle ground when it comes to this RPG. Why? Most likely, it's because Xenogears is a massive undertaking, a game with a provocative story that questions the basis of Western belief, while, at the same time, struggling to be what it essentially is: a game. Overall, this is one of the best game ever to grace the PlayStation. It has all you ever want from an RPG, even overtaking Final Fantasy VII's position in videogames history. For me, this one ranks on par with FF VII, if not better than it. Buy this one! You won't regret it. Read more

Should I get a PSP?
...e PSP is the homebrew. Being able to play games I grew up with is awesome. Bookr (PDF reader) is also pretty useful when I need to read handouts on the go. Saves having to print them out. My 4GB MS is filled with anime episodes, Tekken Dark Resurrection, Xenogears, emulators, ebooks and manga scanlations. That's enough to keep me occupied for quite a while provided I have somewhere I can plug my PSP. Running on just the battery (2200 mAH), that should still be good for 5~7 hours of entertainment.
