Another Great Tomb Raider Game
7 November 2011
Excerpt: Tomb Raider, The Last Revelation is the 4th game in the Tomb Raider series. It once again stars Lara Croft, the lady who loves adventure and danger. This game is really good, it is much bigger than the other games that came before it and there are so many places to look round and search out, the levels all seem much bigger and there are lots of puzzles and things to work out to get you through to the next part of the game plus some mighty foes to get past on the way.
Excerpt: well when i played other tomb raider games i thought i was actually quite good at them but when it came to the 4th one well it changed my opinon totally. this was because even in the first level i was stuck it is really hard and good for people who like puzzles and things. It was so hard in fact that i had to go on the internet and cheat lol. well i though if i cant do the game then i should get help.
Excerpt: Firstly, I think I should give an outline of the story. The first part it purely an exercise to introduce the different features of the game. It begins with a teenage Lara being set a series of challenges by her mentor, Professor Werner Von Croy, to complete. This is called the "Angkor Wat" and these challenges are designed to make you familiar with the different moves and challenges you are likely to encounter in the game.
Excerpt: After purchasing all five Tomb Raider titles for my Play station 1 last year, I have had the pleasure of completing four of them. I have only just recently finished the fourth installment – Tomb Raider the last revelation, and this opinion will be solely about this one. ~~~~~~~GAME PLOT~~~~~~~ Unlike the previous three games all about busty cyber chick, Lara Croft’s adventures, ‘Tomb Raider the last revelation’, goes back into Lara’s past to when she was just a child.
Pros: Addictive, good graphics and sound, fairly cheap price
Cons: Can be a little awkward getting out of tight spaces, some dodgy camera angles
Excerpt: There are avid followers of Tomb Raider. But then there are gamers like me who played the first one, absolutely hated it; played the second and absolutely hated it; played the third and yet again absolutely hated it. But I was compelled for some reason to purchase Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation.
Pros: FMV sequences, plot, learning curve
Cons: stiff controls, no multiplayer, in - game graphics
Excerpt: There are lots of new things going on in here. Right at the start you're playing as a young Lara learning how to play the game on a mini-adventure. You learn some new moves and even some info about her past that will soon creep up on her in the main game. It is the intreguing storyline, trickey puzzles and the amazing videos that will keep you going into the small hours.
Pros: Great gameplay, will keep u busy for a long time
Cons: not for people who don't like to think a lot over games
Excerpt: Being a TR fan it is obvious that i will give this a good review, as it brings back the original feel of TR1. This game is long... it has excellent well thought out puzzles and smarter enemies than seen before. I am a sucker for the old egyptian style scenery and there is plenty of it here. The story line is quite complex and keeps you interested however the end is a little bit of a letdown by having no badie to defete.
Excerpt: I have been a big fan of the Tomb Raider series of games. I loved the first one for it's originality, addiction and gameplay. The second one had me enthrawled too. I just could not resist the third one and became restless until it arrived though my letterbox. The thought of Lara on my screen again kept on giving me that Buz.
Excerpt: After being crushed by Tomb Radier III, I had to give this my all! I think it's brilliant, full of even more twists and turns and puzzles that left my brain smoking for days! It was absolutley compelling and being able to save whenever you liked was an added bonus for me, do a hard bit and then save it, HURRAH!
Pros: brilliant graphics, puzzles and pulling power, has you playing for days
Excerpt: the last relevation has to be the best version of this long lasting game yet. Even to die hard lara fans the new moves and the whole new adventure will keep everyone hooked till the wee small hours every night for several nights. The best £20 spent on self entertainment yet. One word of warning though the official guide is wrong and there are a few places you will get stuck and even prima will not help you, for example you need the crossbow to get the skeletons not the...
