Excerpt: TOMB RAIDER If you ou aren't a Tomb Raider fan or gameplayer, then you are certainly missing out. Besides I love this game so much, probably this one that was back in the day in 1997, when this Tomb Raider II was released on the PlayStation.
Pros: lots of levels, puzzles and graphics improved
Excerpt: Beings a Tomb Raider fan, i bought all the tomb raiders for the Playstation series, First one was great but im here to review the 2nd in the series. The first thing i noticed was the graphics was upgraded alot, better enviomental factors such as the landscape, buildings and even tress look better.
Pros: Long game, Solid graphics, easy controls, good set of weapons
Cons: Unfindable secret, Half of the game isnt set in tombs
Excerpt: Tomb Raider II is one of several titles that I played over at a friend's house then bought for myself. I remember playing it for the first time, where the game begins with Lara, the game's (female) protagonist, sliding down some slopes into a cavern.
Pros: Solid platform environment, splendid lighting effects, a challenge
Cons: Can be difficult going, fighting human enemies, a bit empty at times
Excerpt: Backtrack to 1997, and Core Design found themselves with bit of problem concerning their action/adventure sequel Tomb Raider 2. Usually, a sequel can improve upon its predecessor as in the intervening time lessons can be learnt; flaws can be ironed out, gameplay tweaked and expanded, and needless...
Pros: Fantastic graphics, supreme scope and design, massive array of environments, huge challenge
Cons: Increasingly becomes very tough, A . I . questionable at times, many prefer the first game
Excerpt: I first played on this game when my cousin received it for his 11th Birthday. I’d seen previews of this game, which made it look so easy, so I was looking forward to playing the whole game. BIG MISTAKE!! The opening level GREAT WALL OF CHINA is pure evil!
Excerpt: Tomb Raider 2 was my first buy for the Playstation, so it’s a good job this is a classic. The pretty weak and largely unexplained story goes a bit like this. A magic dagger, found behind a door only ‘the chosen one’ can enter turns whoever stabs themselves with it into a seemingly-invincible dragon.
Pros: Pretty long, with varies levels and enemies, some nice puzzles .
Cons: Dodgy graphics, accurate jumping often annoying .
Excerpt: Without a doubt, Lara Croft was the Playstation's biggest mascot ever. Tomb Raider was a huge hit for the Playstation and since then on, the Lara Croft franchise has sold millions of copies of most of their games.
Excerpt: Maybe not as massive as the huge TRIII and TRIV versions but much better fun. More men and dogs to shoot as they appear from nowhere. While 'Venice' and 'Bartolli's Hideout' are spectacular, the real jewel is the 'Opera House', especially the eerie rooftop before entering.
