It's authentic alright: a Chris Carter created story; a showing from the series' stars; Mark Snow's identifyable theme tune; and with original footage (shot on location) - four discs full of FMV! Most of the game is spent wandering from location to location, hoping to find screen hotspots that may possibly give players a clue as to what they are supposed to do next.
