This is a game you only play through once - and it won't take you that long. The problem is that the only way of spinning it out is to become stuck, which is just too frustrating. The quality of the filmed sequences is good, although the story is out of date if you've been following the series. There are better games out there - and that's the truth. Read more

Note: a cursor bug is present when playing this title on the PlayStation 2. It's authentic alright: a Chris Carter created story; a showing from the series' stars; Mark Snow's identifyable theme tune; and with original footage (shot on location) - four discs full of FMV! The interface is dealt with well. A combination of shoulder and direction buttons allows you to go through the hot spots, and also brings about weapon aiming should the need arise. Read more

Mulder and Scully have gone missing, and as the poorly acted Craig Willmore, a local FBI agent, you must find the clues that lead to their whereabouts. Most of the game is spent wandering from location to location, hoping to find screen hotspots that may possibly give players a clue as to what they are supposed to do next.
