Awesome ninja game
18 March 2006
Excerpt: I played the first Tenchu game when I rented it from Blockbuster but I was too young to really appreciate it myself back then. But now that i'm older and wiser I finally got a chance to play the sequel. Yeah I was impressed by the improvements that they made to the original but the camera issues are still here and it often feels that have the battle with this game is working with it and not accidently be spotted by an enemy and ruining your stealth killing spree!
Pros: Stealth kills are slick, nice music, some cool ninjitsu weapons
Cons: Camera Issues, Serious drawback distnce problem
Excerpt: A great game in my opinion, I'm not the kind of guy that notices the quality of graphics so I don't really care that it's on the psx. The game is extremely exciting but simple if played right. You are a Ninja who seeks rervenge and honour both for your own family of ninjas and for innocent civilians.
Excerpt: Tenchu 2 is a great game, but only if you like anything with violence ( which you all most likely do) and fighting the old fashion way with swords, and being stealthy like metal gear solid, cutting of heads and other such moves. If you loved the first Tenchu then this again is the game for you. Its based on Tenchu 1 but is a in the past of it.
Excerpt: Tenchu 2 All has gone wrong the evil have come back and the only people that can stop them are the 4 asuma ninja.Ayame,Rikimaru and Tatsumaru. Their mission is simple but not easy hunt down and kill all evil. This is what you have to do in each level:There are two different types of missions that you have to do: 1:Get through the whole of the level without being killed at all but killing as many people as you can to get points.
Excerpt: Honour, dishonour, intrigue and revenge; they certainly had it melodramatic back then! And being one of three highly trained Azuma ninjas in feudal Japan is no exception. Tenchu 2, unlike most action adventure titles, is all about stealth and cunning over slash and stab. To this point it has to be said that breathing through a reed hidden underwater, before swimming under a bridge, climbing aboard a ship, slitting a guard’s throat with a quick flick of the wrist before...
Pros: The stealth aspect makes a refreshing change to an action game . The mission creator adds real longevety
Cons: The controls are quite clumsy, and the boss's can be too hard too soon .
Excerpt: Street Fighter 2 this aint, if you want a gung ho, set in front of an aeroplane, future Hollywood spin off, type of a game go elsewhere. This is one of the Playstation most eagerly awaited sequels, but only to those in the know. Shrouded in mystery and very little advertising the original Tenchu insidiously crept into the room and stealthily jumped into the console and fought against me in a battle for supremacy, I lost.
Pros: great gameplay, excellent story, animated segueways
Excerpt: The highly anticipated prequel to the 1998 worldwide best-selling hit Tenchu, Tenchu 2 continues the most authentic, ninja action/adventure game series ever. Featuring authentic ninja items and moves, stealth tactics, immersive storylines and cut-scenes, Tenchu 2 not only expands on the groundbreaking features of the original but adds additional depth by introducing new mission objectives and character abilities that will push players to master new skills and increase...
Excerpt: I think Tenchu 2 is to overated (age wise) it shouldn't be an over 18 game. Alright it's got blood and gore in it but everyone seen that (I hope). My Dad rented this game for me and didn't look twice at the rating. See now days films and games are to overated restricting younger viewers, but this is probably cutting down on the producers profit so we both lose out. Nearly all the games I rent are over 14 and I believe this is true for most people my age.
Excerpt: Tenchu 2: Birth of The Assassins is the sequel to the above average Tenchu and on the whole is better than its predecessor. Tenchu 2 follows the path of one of two nijas in a time in medieval Japan. The missions general follow the plan of sneaking into occupied buildings to save or assasinate someone or saving frightened stupid villagers from demon like gangs.
Pros: good fun . Level Editor
Cons: poor graphics and difficult hand to hand combats .
Excerpt: Tenchu 2 is by far one of the best character oriented games I have ever seen. Although story development could be seen as a bit too slow the game is still exciting as the plot thickens. Everything is thought out a little better then the first. The controls however have diminished. The view should been focusing ahead of the character but instead the view is focusing on the character and made it difficult to see ahead of you.
Pros: better than the first, better , more moves available
