Excerpt: Graphics & Sound: There are basically two different types of graphics involved in MTV Music Generator . The Interfaces and the Music Videos. The Interfaces are somewhat utilitarian when actually making a piece of music, but are more whimsical for the Multiplayer Music Jam sessions. In either case, the interfaces are fairly straight forward. The music creation menus are a slight departure from customary Windows menus, but make enough sense to be easy to pick up on.

Excerpt: Graphics and sound... sound and graphics... That's what 'music video' is all about. MTV Music Generator can make some pretty cool graphics to accompany your CDs. What's that you say? Why, yes! I DO realize that the later versions of the PlayStation can do that already. MTV MG does it better (sometimes). When the Music Generator is doing its thing just right, some of the graphics are breathtaking... and well matched to the music.
Excerpt: My name is Grandmaster Sexay and I'm here to say, that Codemasters has created a game that's here to stay. It may not be large with graphics and eye-candy, but making your own music is fine and dandy. The preceding intro to this review should give you an idea of my musical talents, but for even a complete novice like me, MTV Music Generator is a fun ride into musical creativity.
Excerpt: Ever had that dream where you were a DJ mixing songs in front of 20 thousand people? I sure had, and I think my dream had come true.
