List All 1 PricesThe graphics and sound in Mortal Kombat 4 are much better than I had expected. The game is fast and furious, and looks only slightly less appealing than the Nintendo 64 version, while the PSX wins the round for sound and music. This is an extremely good port of a monster of an arcade game. Read more
On the Final note although MK4 isn't a complete port from arcade. Midway made the right decision to save framerate, involving increased gameplay. The Sounds and Music are the pride and joy, and whipping the crap out of some one with weapons rocks. Putting the moves in the game are a big plus and have fun finding those secret characters. MK4 gets my vote, good game. Read more
We like lots of death. We like 3D graphics. But we're sick of Mortal Konbat. The Mortal Kombat films got worse as they made more of them. This one ain't the worst game they've done but it'll never match other fighting games around today. Well, at least it's better than the last one. I have to start by saying I've never written an opinion on, and barely even passed an opinion on Playstation stuff. I'm not very qualified as I don't have a Playstation of my own and therefore cannot assess long-term boredom... it's a treat to play it for me so I couldn't say whether it gets boring after continual use for a few days. I suspect that I am referring to Mortal Kombat 3 but they're pretty much the same, just a few characters added and so on. Read more
MORTAL KOMBAT 4 continues the carnage you?ve come to expect from this fighting franchise. Weapons have been added into the mix, as each character has a sword, club, or staff to use to his or her advantage. The plot of MK4 ties together the loose ends of MK3 and MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero. With Shao Kahn out of the way, Shinnok assumes the role as Public Enemy #1. For some multiplayer mayhem, take on a friend and see who is the real king of kombat.
