Excerpt: Are you ready for some football? Well, it's that time again. The hits, the tackles, the long bomb and the search for money plays are all back for another year on the PlayStation version of Madden NFL 2000 . This year's outing seeks to address some of the nagging, but not really serious, problems of last year's game. Does it succeed? Or does it simply create new problems in the process?
Excerpt: EA's Madden titles were never successful at beating out other Football simulation games, last year EA had a great season (in sales) with Madden '99 and played well. But this year I think it went down all over again. Although the sales are probably as high as last year, the game is not on the caliber of its competitors. This season almost all of the football games disappointed me somehow.
Excerpt: Well, it’s September, and we all know what that means... FOOTBALL!! And what better way to kick off the season than a brand new release from EA Sports. The graphics in Madden NFL 2000 are the best yet that I’ve seen from EA. Everything from the Options screens to the players is very crisp and clear. Not to mention that when viewing a roster from any team on the NFL, there are real life photos of each player and their descriptions.
