Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver – Second Opinion
18 February 2013
Excerpt: Crystal Dynamics announcement that they were doing Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver raised a few eyebrows. They were abandoning the RPG genre its predecessor had relished in and now opted for a more mainstream third-person-perspective adventure. They touted Soul Reaver as a truly groundbreaking title for the PlayStation. It was a bold move and a bold claim. I was so sure that Soul Reaver wouldn't live up to my expectations that I was ready to pan it as soon as I played it.
Excerpt: Many games take a long time to reach completion. Many games are 'hyped' beyond any hope of living up to the promises. Generally, the longer a game takes, the bigger the chance of it being outdated when it finally hits the market. This is conventional wisdom. Good. Now take everything you know about the 'conventional' wisdom of video games and toss it.
Excerpt: A millennia ago, the world of Nosgoth fell under a dark shadow. Kain was murdered and chose to become a vampire. Upon exacting his revenge, he had the choice to sacrifice himself to save the world, or become its ruler, and, in doing so, plunge it into darkness. For Kain, the choice was obvious.
Excerpt: The much awaited and delayed Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver finally arrives. The game was scheduled to be released last year in October but that never happened. Eidos kept pushing the game back and back. Fans of the original Kain entitled Blood Omen were getting the idea that Soul Reaver would never make it because of all the delays the game had went through. Well after all the agonizing pain we had went through Soul Reaver has finally arrived, but was it worth the wait?
Contemple algumas fotos abaixo:
