  • Excerpt: The time to kill is here. Grap those guns, bombs or whatever you can and nuke those pigs. Time to kill is a pleasure and a survival course, you must nuke or be nuked its as simple as that. Available for almost any format (computer) not just the playstation duke nukem is a game to have fun with, its not serious and certainly different from other gun games of its nature. Is it one to be bought?
  • Pros: Can be fun, humours in places .
  • Cons: Gets boring after a while, graphics arnt great

  • Excerpt: The original Duke nukem 3D that we all love and adore has been presented with this . you take on the role of Duke but this time you see his body and not just the gun it brings a whole new element to Duke Nukem. Theres still the pole dancers the funny lines and the dumb alien badguys but somehow it just doesent feel like Duke Nukem.
  • Pros: 2 player and new weapons
  • Cons: not a first person but ok for somewone who likes a change .

  • Excerpt: Hmm the Duke Nukem series has done extremly well on the PC, however on the playstation hasnt done as well as people would of thought. The main reason for this is that this game is awful the graphics are blocky, music is dreadful and controls are also a bitt iffy. Dont get me wrong I think the Duke Nukem game HAVE been good, but look at the standard of similar games available, you have Unreal Tournament, Half Life, System Shock 2 just to name a few and all have vastly...

Nukem

  • Excerpt: Duke Nukem, the classic shootem up available on the PC, playstation, N64 and gameboy. If there is one quote from the game everybody remembers it’s that classic first line Duke says in the level Hollywood Holocaust, “Those alien B***ards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride”. This game is not so new, yet it is still extremely popular mainly for it’s playability. It has the ‘Link up’ ability for the playstation that also makes it extremely diverse.
  • Pros: loads of fun
  • Cons: dated

The best 1st person shooter

  • Excerpt: Duke Nukem is the best shoot 'em up on the playstation and on the pc. It combines humour with great gameplay and sound. The weapons selection is great and the variety in the game levels and enemies is also really good. It's also really cheap -less than £20. Duke is one cool man. It can be a bit tricky sometimes but nether the less it's a class game.
  • Pros: It combines humour and great gameplay
  • Cons: it can be a bit tricky
