Crash Bandicoot 2 - Platinum (PS)
23 April 2012
Excerpt: After completing the first crash bandicoot just last week me and my friends decided that we wanted to play all of these so we decided to buy them from the ps3 play station network we bought number 2 and 3. Again like number 1 you still have to beat Neo Cortex and his army of enemies by working your way through the levels by moving crash to defeat his turtles and penguins collect all the apples, crates and all the crystals and gems along the way.
Excerpt: Crash Bandicoot Two decades of the ginger Crash Bandicoot and people are still not bored with the series and people often refer to this game as being legendary and a fair few of my friends are fond of this because of childhood memories when they played this game on the Playstation one console. Orginally created by NaughtyDog the game was original and a classic platform game which is great for all of the family and a prescious keepsake to some Crash Bandicoot fans.
Excerpt: Crash Bandicoot 2: cortex strikes back is the second part of what has been years of fun. With its free-roaming 3-d enviroments, graphics and 'badies' that take alot of imagination Crash bandicoot is a well know favourite. Control Crash Bandicoot through many fantastic levels and games, collect the points and the crystals, defeat boses, creepy crawlies and take animation to a new level with this fantastic game.
Pros: Hours of enjoyment entwined with funky graphics
Excerpt: Crash Bandicoot was the closest thing PSone had to a mascot - everyone liked him, he had a variety of games (which were good, which helps) and he even had a foxy (bandicooty?) sister. So it was perhaps a slight surprise that he didn’t get as many friends as a fat Italian plumber and a spiky blue hedgehog in trainers who shall remain nameless. Wangers But since some money-hungry idiot sold him to Ninty and Naughty Dog stopped making his games he’s no mascot of mine.
Pros: Great fun - it's Crash ! Great level variety
Cons: Old - so dodgy graphics . Simple bosses . Pretty short .
Excerpt: This was my first outing with a bandicoot and was mightily impressed with the strength and brains of the wee man ( or could it be that was because I was controlling him??? ). This game I feel was a really addictive game as I spent the full day Sunday playing it. I found the graphics to be better than I expected and thought that the initial intro scene was more than enough info to get you interested in the game.
Pros: Really addictive . Great graphics and gameplay .
Cons: Some levels too easy . Not enough challenging levels .
Excerpt: A bandicoot is an australian marsupial, like Crash. The only difference is that normal bandicoots don't run round levels to collect crystals, befriending bear cubs, fighting off evil man-eating plants and running away from giant snowballs. The Storyline ------------- Crash Bandicoot is lazing in the sun while his little hacker sister is there, tapping away on her laptop. Suddenly her computer runs out of power and she asks Crash to go and get her a battery.
Excerpt: The Crash is back and so is his enemy Cortex. Crash Bandicoot and his sister are relaxing on a beach and his sisters laptop has ran out of batterys. She sends him to go look for some, and then suddenly Crash is transported to a strange warp room with different levels to complete. Cortex appears to tell Crash about his new discovery, crystals. He tricks you into collecting these crystals so he can power his ship in outer space.
Excerpt: I found this to be the best of the 3 Crash games. It was interesting and fun to play, with the added bonus that it saved how many lives you had when you left the game. It had loads of bonus levels and secrets hidden, the controls were easy to use and although it wasn't as big a challenge as Crash 3, it was much more fun. The graphics were bright and clear, with no slowdown when it gets busy.
Excerpt: A Bandicoot by the name of Crash continues his adventures, venturing through many different levels providing variety of scenery and things that can kill you. There is a shortage of moves, as Crash can slide, slam and spin, but the game is very effective with imaginative graphics! I found it quite hard to grasp even though the controls weren't that hard to master! The different levels brought suprising new challenges and was very enjoyable playing!
Pros: Hours of entertainment !
Cons: Annoying when you can't get through a level !
Excerpt: Crash Bandicoot 2 is my 2nd favourite platform game of all time, second only to Spyro 3. The game is in-depth and addictive. I never wanted to turn the console off until I had the game fully completed, 100%. Most people own at least 1 Crash game, some, even more than that. It is quite simply, because Crash is the best all round, all age platformer and unique character that Sony has to offer.
