Summary: I like this game. I call it "refreshing" because the market is filled by uncreative video games full of violence. This game is very simple and actually makes you use your brain while playing, because you need to solve these little puzzles... It is fun...
Summary: Quite beautiful and smoothly executed. A platform puzzler with physics based puzzles is nothing new but this game somehow manages to serve up the "been there, done that" game play in a really enjoyable and fun package. Not that frustrating as you seem to solve the puzzles just before they start to get on your nerves. Visuals seem to get better as the game progresses.
Summary: On the one side this game is gorgeous and the music is mesmerizing, but the whole thing when you actually play it just feels clunky. My single biggest gripe with it is the physics. For such a platforming heavy game you'd expect the characters to be very nimble, as in Half Life 2 or Rayman Origins. Instead it feels a lot like Little Big Planet, where every movement is exaggerated and you feel you're moving a rolling rock with a ton of inertia.
The best fantasy genre video game I have ever played!
11 July 2014
Summary: I have played many, many video games over the years, and a whole lot of those were in the fantasy and/or role playing genres. To my surprise and delight, Trine 2 has topped them all in terms of capturing the "feel" of a fantasy realm. Even though it is only rendered in two dimensions, as opposed to the multitude of RPGs available in 3D, Trine 2 immerses me better than any of the games that have come before it.
Summary: I find it very reassuring to have extra options on purchasing digital downloads from the PS store. This is a great way for those of which don't want to share credit card information on their SEN Playstation Account. 5 Stars.
