Excerpt: Last September I was totally addicted to Rayman Legends on the PS Vita and just about the time I finally got that monkey off my back here it comes again, this time even more beautiful and addictive (how is that possible?) than before. So what makes this game so darn addicting? First, the graphics are simply out of this world; some of the best and most colorful I’ve seen on the PS4 or any other system for that matter.
Excerpt: Rayman Legends received rave reviews when it was finally released in the fall of 2013. The long-delayed game drew the ire of some because of massive delays that saw it go from a Wii U exclusive to a multi-platform game. Now, it’s hit the next generation with some enhancements to the visuals and small functions added in that may surprise you.

Conclusion: In the end, whether or not you upgrade is going to come down to preference. The game is still the same awesome game you’ve come to know and love. It plays almost exactly the same on the last generation as it does on the new generation. If skins and extras matter to you, then there is some new material to get involved in. However, it is relatively clear that this version of the game is meant to introduce a new audience to a beloved franchise.

Excerpt: It seems as if Rayman Legends is the little game that just won’t quit. From the Wii U to the Vita to the PS3 and Xbox 360 we now have the inevitable port to the PS4 and Xbox One. While the game itself is largely the same as its predecessors it still manages to stand out with an extra bit of shine that past gen consoles couldn’t quite achieve and is well worth your time if you haven’t played it yet.
Review: Rayman Legends next-gen offers little reason to double-dip
18 February 2014
Summary: In a week that's already given us a terrific 2D platformer in the form of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze , it's interesting to get the opportunity to reappraise a game like Rayman Legends. Not least because it offers a rare chance to directly compare two entries within the same genre at close quarters.
Pros: Exceptionally pretty, Generous and inventive, Near-instant loading times
Cons: New skins aren't too exciting, Controls still a touch skittish
